My Favorite Christmas Music

Hi guys! Today I'm going to talk about my favorite Christmas music. I have been listening to a lot of Christmas music lately and realizing what I like and what I don't like.

My favorite artist for Christmas music is Micheal Bublé. I really like his whole Christmas album. My favorite song from his is probably Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. I also really like Its Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, and All I Want For Christmas Is You. The Christmas season doesn't start without a little Micheal Bublé! I like to listen to his Christmas album while decorating or wrapping presents. He should come out with a second album.

I also really enjoy the Glee Christmas albums. They have 3 or 4 of them. My two favorite songs from those albums are Last Christmas and Christmas Wrapping. Their tv episodes are fun to have on in the background while you're at home decorating or spending time with friends. I also really like the Glee version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Do You Hear What I Hear, and Little Drummer Boy. I think that the Glee version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town is even better then the Micheal Bublé version. They are both very good though.

Now I'll talk about some individual songs that I like. One of my favorites is Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande. I also like Only Thing I Ever Got For Christmas by Justin Bieber. Lastly I like Christmas Time by Christina Aguilera. I like when my favorite artists come out with Christmas songs of their own. A few of the singers I like have come out with albums of older Christmas songs remade, but I like when they write a new one for themselves.

I listen to Christmas music on and off year around but when you start to hear it on the radio you know Christmas is getting close. Listening to Christmas music lifts my spirits and it makes everyone happier. We've had lots of Christmas music playing around the house for the past two weeks. It's a tradition that will hopefully never get lost! I hope you guys enjoyed this blog and it helped encourage you to get in the Christmas spirit!

Rotary Interact

Rotary Interact

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about rotary interact. It's a club at my school that does community service projects.

So far I've been to about four or five meetings. Our first project we set up to do is volunteer work at the walk to end alzheimer's. So yesterday at 8 we went to a park and we helped set everything's up. Then the group of people I was in set up fake flowers. If you took a purple flower, you've lost someone with alzheimer's. If you took a blue flower, you have alzheimer's. If you took a yellow flower, you support or care for someone with alzheimer's. If you took an orange flower, you support the cause.

We let people write on the fake petals. Once the walk started we collected all the flowers. Then we went up to the garden and we stuck them in the ground. We greeted everyone at the finish line with posters and bells. Then we helped clean up and helped people find their flowers. It was really fun and I loved seeing people react to a group of about 10 high school students up at 8 helping.

We have two more projects that we're planning right now. The first one is helping elementary school kids. We're going to go over to the elementary school and we get to help the kids plant flowers, do homework, and play with them. Our second project is the cancer awareness project. At one of the football games, everyone in rotary is going to go onto the field holding a balloon that's the color of cancer that has effected them and release it.

I'm really excited to be in rotary and I think it's a lot of fun.

First Week Of School

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about my first week of school. School started last Monday. I was pretty excited to go back just so I could see people again. 

Monday morning when my alarm clock yelled at me around 5:30 is when I realized I'd be tired the rest of the year. I got ready and went to my bus stop. The first day of school was terrible but pretty much because it was so boring. We didn't do anything in classes. Tuesday was better but it's school so it will never be great. My favorite class right now is probably yearbook, it seems really fun. I'm on the sports section so I go to games and photograph them. I also get to choose what photos of the sports team go into the yearbook. 

On Wednesday it was again pretty boring. I do think that I'll like most of my teachers. My french 3 teacher and my yearbook teacher I had last year so i already know I'll like them. All sophomores are required to take gym. My teacher seems pretty nice so I think it will be fun. On Thursday we actually started doing some real work. We mostly just took notes and did bellringers. In first period i have math. I really like my math teacher, I think she's really good at teaching the subject. Second period I have gym. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's so early. For third period I have biology. I think this class with be pretty fun because my teacher says we'll do a lot of labs. 

Fourth period is French 3 and I like the teacher but i think the class will be pretty hard. Fifth period I have english. So far I like my teacher but I think she's just a little boring. My sixth period, US Studies, is pretty fun. I like my teacher a lot. For seventh period I have yearbook witch is really fun and a good way to end the day. On Friday we had a pep rally. It would have been a lot more fun if it wasn't so hot outside. It was around 92 degrees out. 

So overall my first week of school was ok but not great. I'm glad to be back but at the same time I want summer to be longer.

Suicide Squad Movie Review

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about a movie I saw recently called Suicide Squad. I saw it about a week ago.

So it starts out with Amanda Waller explaining what the suicide squad is. It's a group of criminals with bombs in there necks. If they complete an extremely dangerous mission then they get 10 years of there sentences and a small reward. If they try to run away they get killed. So the suicide squad starts out with 7 members. Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Diablo, Slipknot, Killer Croc, and Enchantress. They can't put a bomb in Enchantress because she uses the body of a doctor. They have her heart to try and control her with. She turns into Enchantress in her sleep and made a human turn into her brother.

Her brother protects her so that her heart won't hurt her. They are building a machine to kill every human on Earth. The suicide squad gets approved and they all get injected with the bomb. They're captain is Rick Hunter and his partner is Katana. She's there to keep them in line and if the bombs don't work to kill them. Enchantress can turn humans into creatures that will attack the suicide squad and obey her commands. The suicide squad gets off the helicopter and almost immediately Slipknot tries to escape and they blow him up.

They fight their way threw the creatures. They're on top of a building when the Joker comes and starts shooting at everyone to rescue Harley Quinn. She gets onto the helicopter and it gets shot down. Harley Quinn jumped out and escaped the crash but Joker didn't make it. She rejoins the suicide squad. They find out what they're up against and they all quit. Rick Hunter talks them into helping them and they decide they don't have much to loose. When they get to Enchantress they first have to fight her brother. Diablo grows to the size of him and they fight. He pushes him into a corner where a giant bomb is supposed to be. Diablo can't get away in time and he dies with the Enchantresses brother. They all start fighting the Enchantress and they manage to hit her a few times. She finally asks them to join her because they are the strongest humans she's ever met. Harley Quinn goes up to her and asks in she can bring back Joker if she flips sides. Enchantress says yes and Harley kneels down. She quickly grabs a sword and she cuts out her heart. She gives it to Rick Hunter and he crushes it. After it's crushed the doctor wakes up.

So in the end they are all properly rewarded and get 10 years off. At the very end of the movie Joker busts harley Quinn out of her jail. We don't know how he survived. I loved this movie a lot. I would give it a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend it!!

Vermont Trip

Vermont Trip

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about a trip my family took to Vermont to see my grandmother. She recently got a puppy named Ginger who we met on this trip.

So we got to Vermont a little before midnight on Friday. It takes us around 12 hours to get there. When we got there we just went straight to our rooms and slept. The next morning we had bacon and blueberry pancakes. This is when we got to meet the adorable puppy, Ginger. We played with her for a while and then we went to a craft fair in a small New Hampshire town. We wandered around there a little but it started raining so we went into a store and my mom got a jacket. Then we went to a tiny mall and we found a cute store. My grandma got me a really cute jacket. 

We ate lunch in the mall and then we went to a candy store called Chutters. It's got the worlds longest candy counter. We got some candy there. Then we went back to the house to let Ginger out and take a break. Later that day my Grandma made an amazing dinner. The next day we had bacon and french toast for breakfast.

After breakfast we hung out for a while. Around 1 we went to see Suicide Squad. I really liked it, it was a great movie. Then we went antiquing for a little bit. After that we had a late lunch/ early dinner. We had poutine as an appetizer and it's fries covered in cheese and gravy, it was really good. We also had great ice cream. I had blueberry and maple swirled. Then we went back to the house and played with the puppy more.

I had a lot of fun in Vermont. It was great to see my grandma again and to meet her adorable puppy. I can't wait until next time!

Baking

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about my recent interest in baking. Recently when I'm bored at home I've been pulling out one of my moms old cook books to bake from.

A few days ago I decided to make my Aunts recipe for Lemon Blueberry Poppy Seed Bread. This was by far the biggest hit in my house. It was completely gone by the end of the day and I look forward to making it again. My brothers enjoyed the lemon frosting.

The recipe that I used that got me started in baking was a recipe for Apple Coffee Cake. It was very good and it had a cinnamon and sugar glaze. Another recipe i recently made was Cream Puff Cake. It was a layer of dough, then vanilla pudding, and on top was whip cream and chocolate syrup.

I've also made apple cinnamon muffins and cranberry orange muffins. I find baking to be really fun when you play some music. By the time I'm done in the kitchen I feel accomplished because I just made something that my family will enjoy.

That's my new hobby and on e of my favorite things to do!

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Hi guys! Today I'm going to review the first 6 episodes of a TV series I recently started watching called The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

So this show was created by a comedian named Tina Fey who my dad really likes. The first episode starts out with Kimmy and three others girls being found in an underground bunker. They were held captave there by a priest. The girls were told that the apocalypse was coming and that they were the only survivors. The police finally found them and the priest was arrested. Kimmy and the other three girls were called The Mole Women. Kimmy decides she wants to live in New York City.

She finds a roommate and she gets a job working as a nanny/assistant for a rich family. In the second episode Kimmy throws a birthday part for the little boy in the family that she works for which makes her job permanent. There is a 15 year old girl in the family that has an attitude problem that Kimmy grounds because her step mother can't. In the third episode Kimmy gets a date from the rich woman she works for. When she gets to the restaurant she finds out the man is really old.

In the 4th episode she goes with the woman she works for to her plastic surgeon. Kimmy gets her scream lines removed and she later comes back because she wants a whole new face. Kimmy realized that her past would't go away just because she had a new face so she didn't follow threw with it. In the 5th episode Kimmy gets a boyfriend, the tutor of the rich family, and one of the mole women visit her. When her friend comes she brings her boyfriend who turns out to be gay but he's taking care of her. He proposes to her and she says yes. Kimmy got dumped by the tutor because she said she loved him and he thought it was moving to fast. In the 6th episode Kimmy went back to middle school to graduate and eventually get her degree and start traveling the world.

So this show is really funny. I would give it a 9 out of 10. If you like comedies I highly recommend this show. I look forward to watching more episodes.

Star Trek Beyond Review

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write a movie review on Star Trek Beyond witch I saw at the Alamo Friday night with my family. SPOILER ALERT.

So the movie starts out with the crew of the Enterprise finding an alien girl who says her ship was invaded and taken by someone. They take her back to the base and they're sent on a mission to go where her ship and crew was taken, help her, and explore the area. The Enterprise is the only ship with high enough technology to travel to that area. When they get there they don't have any connection to the star base.

They approach the area that the girl claims is where she was invaded. A large amount of ships come to the area and attack the enterprise. The Enterprise gets completely destroyed and most of the crew gets taken captive. The remainders, Captain Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Chekov, and the alien girl, escape in pods and land on the planet. Captain Kirk, Chekov, and the alien girl all land close to each other. Kirk automatically knows that the girl had lied and she claimed that she only did it because they had her crew and wouldn't let them go until she brought them to the planet.

Scotty lands near a girl who helps him escape some soldiers and then takes him to her ship which turned out to be the first space ship the federation made. McCoy and Spock drove one of the alien ships onto the planet and Spock gets stabbed when they land and McCoy does his best to help fix it. The three groups end up finding each other and making a plan to invade the base where the crew is being kept, energize them onto the old ship, and fixing the ship so they can leave. The aliens got away with a huge weapon and went to the star base where millions of people were to kill them all. They later realize that it's the old captain of the ship that's doing this. Kirk defeats him and he falls into a deep pit and dies. Kirk is saved by Spock and McCoy.

I thought this was a pretty good movie and I liked the girl who helped Scotty. She was putt into the academy to become an officer. i would give this movie a 7 out of 10.

Eleanor and Park Book Review

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write a book review on a book I just finished called Eleanor and Park. This book is written from the prospective of both Eleanor and Park. It switches back and forth.

So the book starts out around halfway threw the school year and Park sees a new girl get on the bus. She sticks out to everyone because of her bright red hair and the fact that she dresses like a boy. She has no place to sit and Park feels bad for her so he moves over and tells her to sit. They don't talk for about two weeks until Park caught Eleanor reading his comic once. When she stood to get off the bus he handed the comic to her. He brought more comics for her every day. One day he asked her what she thought about them. They talked everyday since about comics and music.

They started realizing they had feelings for each other. They flirted a lot in school and on the bus. One day he walked over to Eleanors' house. When he got there he rang the door bell and Eleanor's drunk, high, and abusive stepdad answered the door. He let Eleanor come out for a little while. Eleanor told Park he couldn't come over again because of her stepdad. She asked her mom if she could go to her friends house after school and walk home. So she went home with Park. They started dating and Eleanor's family didn't know.

One day Eleanor and Park went on a date in town and when Eleanor got home that night her room was trashed and there was angry notes from her stepdad. She climbed out the window knowing that her stepdad would hurt her if he caught her. She ran to Parks house and he came out of his window. Eleanor was crying and she told him what happened. Park said he would take her to her uncles house after his parents fell asleep. On Parks way out his dad woke up and caught him. Park explained that Eleanor needed help badly so his dad let him go. When Eleanor got there she had to say goodbye to Park. Her Aunt and Uncle took her in and got all of Eleanor's siblings out of the house. So in the end Eleanor and Park couldn't be together because she had to leave.

I found this books ending very sad but also good that Eleanor got away from her stepdad. It was a very well written and fun book to read. I would rate this book a 8 out of 10. I recommend reading it!

Summer Hobbies and Projects

Hi guys! Today I'm going to talk about some new summer hobbies and projects that i've started recently.

My mom took me to Hobby Lobby a few days ago and I got a plain white shirt, some gems, and a hot iron tool. So I can custom make some shirts. I tried it the other day and it was pretty fun. I can also make patterns to put on transfer paper and then iron it on the shirt. I have special glue that works on things that aren't fabric.

My next summer project also involves clothes. I have a few clothes that don't really fit very well. So I'm going to adjust them so that they fit better. I have some dress straps to fix, a dress to turn into a shirt, and some pants I need to fix.

Lastly, I have two pillows to cover to match my room. I already sewed a cover for a third pillow. Another project I have to work on is making curtains for my closet. We got a really pretty fabric to make into curtains but we still need to get a curtain rod.

When these projects are done I think I'll like them a lot. I like that the pillows and curtains will make my room look better. I'm also looking forward to new clothes. I think my summer will be less boring with these projects. They should keep me occupied until school starts again.

Ocean City Vacation

Ocean City Vacation 

Hi guys! Today I'm talking about a week long trip my family takes to Ocean City, New Jersey every year. 

On our way down there we stop at It's A Toy Store so my dad and brothers can look around. Then we ate lunch at the Mays Landing Diner. When we finally got to Ocean City it was a reunion with my grandmother, aunt, uncle, and cousins. We only get to see them a couple times a year so Ocean City's a great time to catch up. 

In Ocean City I had a great time with my family, in the water, riding roller coasters, exploring the bored walk, and just enjoying being there. I had a mom and me day where my mother and I walked around the bored walk, ate lunch, shopped, drove go-carts, and just had a lot of fun. I got a beach happy from my grandmother, she took me to a skincare store on the bored walk and got me some things. We also had ice cream with my aunt Melody witch was a lot of fun.

The day before we went home my grandmother, father, and I got pedicures. My dad didn't get them painted he just got everything else. I got a really pretty blue color and my grandma got dark pink. The next day we got up around 7am and packed the cars to leave. We had lunch at a buffet and then we went to a brewery where my mom got some beer. We eventually got home around 5:30. 

I had a great time this year in Ocean City. I'm glad I got to see my grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousins!

Tennessee Trip

Hi guys! Today I'm going to tell you about my trip to Nashville and Gatlinburg Tennessee. I was in Tennessee for a week with my mom and grandmother for mothers day and my birthday.

On june 8th we had airplane tickets to go to Nashville. The first half of the day was pretty much just spent wandering through airports and actually flying. When we got to nashville we ate lunch in a mall and shopped around a little bit. Then we checked into our hotel and we went to The General Jacksons Showboat for dinner. We ate a lot of food and then watched a really cool show. We planned on staying in nashville for 4 days. We went to downtown nashville and explored a bit. It was the weekend of the CMA fest so it was really crowded but there was a lot of cool music stands.

We also went to see the grand ole opry. We watched a bunch of people preform and it was really cool. While we were there we also toured the rhyman auditorium. after the 4 days were up we went to gatlinburg. When we got there we walked around the main street and explored the shops for a while and ate. The next day we went to dollywood.

Dollywood was a lot of fun. It;s an amusement park. We rode a few rides and we watched a show and just walked around in cool shops and ate lunch and dinner. We got really good cinnamon bread and we ate it with icing and apple butter. Dollywood would have been better if it was less hot but it was still fun. The last day of the trip we rode a lift up the smoky mountains and when we got to the top there was a small mall. We ate lunch there and then we came back down on the lift. After that we rested for a little while and then went to the nature center.

The next day we drove back to Nashville and came home on the plane. It was a really fun trip and I'm glad I went.

Pretty In Pink Movie Review

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about Pretty In Pink, a movie made in the 80s that I saw last night with my family.

So the movie started out with the main character, Andy, getting ready for school and waking her dad up for a job interview. She dresses in clothes she makes that are old fashioned. When she gets to school she gets made fun of a lot from other girls. She has a friend named Duckie that has a huge crush on her. One day she is working in the record store and a guy from her school named Blane comes in. He asked for her opinion on a record, buys it, and leaves. You can tell that they like each other a little.

He came back in the next day and said he didn't really like the record. They were about to talk a bit more when Duckie accidentally pulled an alarm and Blane left. The next day in the parking lot Blane asked Andy out on a date Friday night. So they go on the date and he takes her to his friends party first and it goes bad so they go to a music place where they have problems with Duckie getting mad at Andy. At the end of the terrible date Blane asks Andy to prom and she says yes. They go on another date but after that Blane starts not calling her and avoiding her a little at school.

Then he comes up to her at the end of the day and he tells her that he forgot he asked another girl to prom a month ago. Andy gets mad and she runs out of the school. Then Duckie gets in a fight with Blanes' jerk friend and leaves school too. Andy decides she needs to go to prom to show Blane he didn't break her. She walks into the dance with Duckie and Blane comes up to her and apologizes. Duckie tells Andy to go after him and she does. In the end Andy and Blane are together and Duckie gets a girl too.

So this movie was really fun and the music was great. I would give it a 7 out of 10 rating. My favorite part was probably when They go on their first date. I recommend seeing this!

The Baltimore Aquarium

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about my trip to the Baltimore Aquarium. So on Friday After school I went with my mom to the Baltimore Aquarium. It was extra credit in my science class if we went and took a picture with the electric eel.

So we got to the aquarium at around 5:30. We started the tour looking at some small sharks and sting rays. Then we moved on and we got to touch some crabs and fish. They felt extremely weird. The fish had spikes on its back but they weren't sharp and it's actual skin was squishy. We also got to touch jellyfish. We could only touch the top part so we didn't get stung, but they were really cool. They felt soft and rubbery. After that we saw a really cool octopus. The octopus was my favorite because it could change colors. It went from pink to purple to red. It was ugly but it was really cool. Then we saw the eel. It was really big and looked pretty creepy. It stayed really still and never blinked once so it was just staring at you. It also blended in with the wood logs to it took us a little while to find it.

After we saw the eel we looked at a bunch of other little fish. After we had finished the fish section we saw all of the things like poison dart frogs, birds, and a sloth. Next we saw all of the sharks. The Sharks looked really creepy. They had a sawfish shark and it was really creepy. After the Sharks we went to see the dolphins. They played a little with the dolphins. After that we looked around the gift shop and went home.

So during the trip I took notes of five things that I learned. The first animal I learned about was the green sea turtle. The turtle eats jellyfish, algae, and sponges. They are helpful to the environment because they eat algae off of coral so the coral can see sunlight. The green sea turtle is an endangered species. The next fish is the palette surgeonfish, which is what Dory from Finding Nemo is. Dory eats plankton and algae. This fish also accidentally eats sand which actually helps with its digestion. The Dory fish grows up to 31 centimeters and up to 1.3 pounds. Next is the blacktip reef shark. The blacktip reef shark eats fishes, shrimp, and octopi. These Sharks actually bond with sharks of their kind. They group up and form bonds. This type of shark is near threatened, so if nothing changes it will become endangered. The Sharks actually have semi transparent eyelids that they can close to protect their eyes from scratches from other animals and from things like sand and coral. The next fish I picked is the bowfin fish. This fish eats other fish, amphibians, and crustaceans. This fish is actually extremely cool because it was the line survivor of an extinct family of ancient fish. It also breaths air. This fish was once endangered a long time ago but now it is flourishing. Last is the electric eel. It generates 800volts which is more than enough to stun a human. These eels can grow up to 9 or 10 feet long. You can actually tell the difference between every single electric eels because they each have a different voltage versus length equation. The electric eel sends out pulses threw the water when they want to find a mate. The eels set up an electric field and they can tell if something enters it and they send out a shock wave to kill or stun it. My favorite out of these five is probably the bowfin fish because I find it extremely cool and interesting that it was around in ancient times. 

So that was my trip to the Baltimore Aquarium. My favorite part was when I saw the color changing octopus. I also really liked touching the jellyfish. I highly recommend going to the Baltimore Aquarium it was a lot of fun. I would give it a 8 out of 10 rating.

Captain America Civil War Movie Review

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about the movie Captain America Civil War. My family saw this movie in theaters the day after it came out. SPOILER ALERT.

So the movie started out with the Avengers fighting a villain and they end up destroying a building. Then on the news it says that the Avengers don't care about what the wreck and that they are also criminals. A government official comes to their place and tells them that they either need to sign a document saying they will only fight when the government gives them permission or they are outlaws. The Avengers basically split into two teams, one for the document, and one against the document. 

On the team for the document is Iron Man, Black Widow, War Machine, Vision, Spider Man, and The Black Panther. On the team against the document is Captain America, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, The Winter Soldier, Ant Man, and Hawk Eye. They get into an epic fight about signing the document and then realized they needed to be on the same side. Captain America and The Winter Solider got into a fight against Iron Man because The Winter Solider killed Iron Mans parents.

This was a great movie and you need to see it. Iron Mans team was fighting for being within the law and not fugitives but Captain America was fighting for their freedom. I can see both sides of the argument and I can't really pick one over the other. I'm very excited to see what's coming next in this story. I would rate this movie a 8.5 out of 10.

I highly recommend you seeing this movie. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it.

Track and Field Season Ending

Track and Field Season Ending

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about the end of track and field. Saturday morning was the varsity championships.

The freshman championships were on Thursday. In track I throw freshman shot put and discus and I run varsity four by one and 100 meter dash. I couldn't throw in the freshman championship because of medical reasons but I did run varsity Saturday. I got second place for Spring Mills and Jefferson got first.

Track and field was a lot of fun but also harder then I expected. There is a lot of people that end up joining track and quitting within a week. The meets are probably my favorite part. After your event you get to hang out with friends. At varsity meets I had to help with hurtles and sign ins after my event though. Saturday after my event I handed out medals, trophies, and ribbons to the winning people and teams.

For the championships the spring mills freshen won first place all together and the varsity team won third all together out of the eight teams. I'm looking forward to doing track and field again next year. I might try pole vaulting too.

So that's all for this blog. I had a great season and I'm looking forward to it again next year.

Where She Went Book Review

Where She Went Book Review

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about the sequel to my favorite book, If I Stay. SPOILER ALERT!

In the first book, If I Stay, Mia gets into a car crash where her entire family dies and she is seriously injured. At the very end of the book she starts to wake up. In Where She Went, the book is written from her ex-boyfriend, Adams, view. Adam had become a famous singer in a band called Shooting Star. Mia had become a famous cello player. They meet again one night when Adam decides he wants to see her play. He tries to get out unrecognized but the staff members all know who he is so the news gets to Mia. She asks to see him and they wander around New York all night.

It's around 5-6 in the morning when Mia and Adam get to the Brooklyn Bridge. They have a huge talk about them breaking up and everything that happened. They go back to to Mias house and Adam sleeps on the couch for a little while. They reconnect and Adam decides to leave the band and spend his time with Mia.

This is a great second book to If I Stay. I think that If I Stay is better, but Where She Went is a close second. I would give Where She Went a 7 out of 10. I highly recommend both of these books. I also want to read more by this author because she writes really well.

So that's my book review on Where She Went. This book was amazing and I recommend reading it.

Jersey Boy

Jersey Boy

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about the musical I saw with my family and one of my friends.

Last Thursday my family had tickets to see a musical called Jersey Boy. My older brother had a concert that night so we had an extra ticket. So I invited my friend Ashley. After school she rode the bus home with me and got off at my house. We got in the car with the rest of my family and drove 2 hours to my grandparents house. Then we ate dinner really quick when we got there. Next we went to the subway and took a train to DC which took about a hour.

When we got there we were seated and waited for the show to start. Jersey Boy was about a band from New Jersey. They started out messed up and making criminal offenses. Soon they made four hits and started becoming popular. They named their band the four seasons. Their band is rising to the public but they have problems inside the group. Tommy owed a lot of money to people and wasn't treating the group very good. They forced Tommy out of the group and payed off his debts. After Tommy left so did Nick. Then Bob decided that he just wanted to write the songs and not preform them. So Bob and Frankie decided to make the band called Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The four seasons part was just four extras.

In the end of the play Frankie's daughter died of drug overdose. The original Four Seasons had a get together. This play was amazing. We had a great time and the music was awesome. I had a great time. After the play we went back on the subway and then drove the rest of the way home. We got home at around 1:30am. Ashley stayed the night and I was super tired at school the next day.

I had a great time at the play. I thought it was great and I would give it a 9 out of 10.

The Pyramid Movie Review

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about a movie I watched last night called Pyramids. It's a horror movie that had me hiding behind my blanket at some scenes. SPOILER ALERT!

So the movie started out with a three sided pyramid being found. It was underground buried by sand. Two father and daughter archeologists, Nora and Holden, are running a team of people trying to get into the pyramid. When they first open it they get blasted with a giant cloud of toxic air. The only person effected was the guy that opened the tunnel. They are told that they have to pack up and leave by morning. They decide to send in a NASA robot for 2 hours. They send it in and they think that a dog got in and disconnected it. So 5 of them, Nora, Holden, Fitzie, Sunni, and Zahir, decide to go in and get it.

They go into the pyramid and they find the robot destroyed into 2 pieces. They decide that they want to go further into the pyramid just a little bit and then go back. So they get into a room and they can't remember where they came from. So they take a guess and go through one of the tunnels. They get to a room where the floor starts to crumble and break apart. They try to get out but they fall through the floor into another room. In this room a giant stone falls and lands on Zahirs leg. They couldn't move the stone by themselves so they look for ways out to go get help. Sunni tried climbing a tunnel and when she reached the top something jumped out at her and scratched her face so she fell. She was fine she just had scratches on her face. So they leave Zahir to go get help and they go into another room. They hear Zahir scream and they run back to him but when they get there he had bee. devoured by something. They keep moving trying to get out when they are chased by these cat creatures. They chase them into a room where they find a solider that had come to get them. The cats kill the solider.

They are moving on into a narrow hallway. Holden touches a stone structure and the door behind them slams shut and the hall begins to fill with sand, fast. They start running down the hallway and Sunni sees that at the end there is a room of spikes below. She stops and the then Fitzie runs into her and accidentally pushes her over and she gets impaled by three spikes. She is still alive but in terrible pain. Then the cat creatures come in and start biting at her. The other three throw a flair down and the cats run. Then they climb down to her. If they take her if she will die. They stay with her a little while and then she has a seizure and it kills her. They keep moving on until they realize that they went in a complete circle and are back in the room with the NASA robot. They try and find a way out when they get to the room with a coffin. Holden is talking when an evil God shoves his hand threw his chest and takes his heart. He weighs his heart because whatever heart weighs the exact same as his fathers is a pure heart and will free him. Then Fitzie and Nora run and start climbing up a tunnel that leads out of the pyramid when the evil cat guy climbs up and takes Fitzie and then Nora. He kills Fitzie but Nora escapes and gets to the top. She is almost out of the tunnel when she passes out. When she wakes up a kid comes into the tunnel because he sees her and picks up the camera. He is looking at the camera when the car guy appears behind him and then the screen goes blank and the movie ends.

I liked this movie but it was pretty gross at times. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Hope you enjoyed and decide to watch this movie!

Snow White and the Huntsman Movie Review

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write a movie review on Snow White and The Huntsman. SPOILER ALERT!

So the movie starts out with the queen wanting a child with skin as white as snow and lips as red as blood. Her and the King conceive a child and she is born. She is said to be the symbol of beauty in the kingdom. When Snow White is about 10 her mom dies of a fever in a harsh winter. Then her father fights a ghost army and finds a prisoner, a beautiful woman. For once he forgets about his wife and he decides to marry her. That night the new Queen poisoned and killed the King. She locked up Snow White and she took over the kingdom.

The magic mirror told the queen that she could only stay forever young by taking Snow Whites heart. Snow White escapes the tower and she runs into the dark forest. The queen send a Huntsman after her and he only does it because the queen says she will bring his wife back to life. He gets Snow White and finds out the queen is lying so he protects her and helps her get to her army. They go a few different places where disaster strikes. She's almost to the army when the queen gives her a poisonous apple that kills her.

She is brought back to life by true loves kiss, the Huntsman. Then she storms into the kingdom with her army and she kills the evil queen. At the end of the movie she gets crowned Queen. I have been loving fairytale media lately. The tv show Once Upon A Time is one of my all time favorites. I also like the movies Maleficent, Cinderella, and I'm looking forward to The Huntsman coming out soon. I would give this movie a 7.8 out of 10.

I really enjoyed watching it and I think you should try it too.
