Scrapbooking

Hello. Today I am going to tell you a little bit about my favorite hobby scrapbooking.

I love to scrapbook in my free time. When I was little I was first encouraged to scrapbook because my aunt does it. Aunt Robyn. The summer of 2012 I went to my aunts apartment in New York. She helped me make a great scrapbook about my trip.

We handmade this scrapbook. Since then I have made three more but they aren't filled yet. My mother also used to scrapbook but not any more. She gave me three books about scrapbooking. That was my encouragement to do a scrapbook on my siblings and myself.

A friend of my dads gave me a great idea. I am going to start doing scrapbooks for family and friends. All I need is pictures and money to buy some supplies to help me build your scrapbook.

If you want to see some more of my scrapbook pages to see if you like them first then comment. If your happy with the pictures on the post then ask me to make you a scrapbook. If your not interested, don't do anything.

I can make you a scrapbook or I can get one with the money I need for supplies?

The Natural Bridge

Hello. Today I m going to tell you about my birthday/mothers day trip to the Natural Bridge.

So on Friday my mom, grandma, and myself went on a vacation to the Natural Bridge. When we got there we went to the gift shop and looked around a while. Then we got lunch. After lunch we went to the Natural Bridge. Then we sat down while a tour guide told us about its history.

The bridge was huge. It was also very cool. The highway, I believe that it is highway 11, runs across the top of the bridge. It is cool because from the top you can't tell that your on the bridge and underneath you can't tell there is a highway.

So once we got to the bridge and the presentation was over we went further down the trail. About five minutes later we got to an Indian camp which was a reenactment of a 1700's Indian tribe. It was pretty neat. Then we went down to a bat poo mine. The mine is called a saltpeter mine. The dung was used to make gunpowder during the Civil War. After that we walked all the way down to the falls. They aren't to big but they are pretty.

I loved going to the Natural Bridge. It was an amazing experience.

Ashton's New Room

Hello. Today I am going to tell you about what we did to Ashton's new room.

So last night we made renovations to Ashton's new room. So first we ripped off most of the wall paper that was around the top of my parent's old room. It was really fun. Ashton kept ripping of entire stripes and I was too short so I just got like the bottom half of them off. It was still really fun destroying a room.

Next we took out the border molding around the perimeter of the room. Well, sort of. We got the baseboard out of the closet out but not the rest of the room. Ashton accidentally made a hole in the wall with the crow bar. We were going to do the rest of the rooms borders but Alex went to bed so mom said no more loud tools.

After we got the borders out we cut the carpet in half. Then we rolled it up and pulled it from the tacks. It was super fun to rip it out. Mom and I did the first half and Ashton and mom did the second half. Then they did the foam underneath. That was pretty easy. I loved ripping out that old carpet.

Now the room just has draping wallpaper and boards on the floors. Mom is going to get wallpaper remover and hard wood flooring in a while.

Pennsylvania

Today I am blogging about my trip to Pennsylvania yesterday.

So yesterday I went to my Aunt Melody's house in PA. It was my Grandparents, Aunt Robyn, Uncle Dave, cousins, my family, and Aunt Melody's family. So we were there for about twelve boxes of old photos. We are going to scan them in and give each of the four family's copies.

Each of the other family's have different jobs too. Like Aunt Robyn and Uncle Dave have sixteen old movie reels they are going to digitize. Aunt Melody is sending off slides to be digitize. The pictures my were great grandmother's.

We also got a Queen size bed and box spring for Ashton. It used to be great grandma Dill's. It is for his new room. Mom and Dad also got a mini fridge! I said that wasn't fair because I called dibs first! Us kids mostly played games and played around outside, when the adults were sorting through pictures.

It was pretty fun. I loved the meals Grandmama, Aunt Robyn, and Aunt Melody! Thanks!

This is one of her old pictures of my dad. He used to get out of bed and sleep behind the door as a kid.

Spring

I love the spring. That's why I'm dedicating this blog to the start of the 2013 spring.

Spring is my favorite season. I love all the colors and flowers. So I took pictures of flowers that I thought were really pretty. I also love some of the trees that bloom in the spring.

From my moms bedroom there is a close up through the window of our cherry blossom. In the yard next to ours there is small purple flowers with long red ones sticking up out of them.

We have the same short purple flowers on our yard. We also had yellow ones but they were all dead and shriveled up so I didn't take a picture of those ones. The tree in our front yard blooms little white flowers.

That's why I love spring. The beautiful flowers, colors, and birds.

Mom's Wardrobe

Hello people. Today I will be writing about my moms clothes. She has some cute clothes.

I like my moms clothes because they all have a cool different style to them. My dad likes most of her shirts. I took pictures of the shirts she wears to work or other special occasions.

Mom and I went shopping around the beginning of the school year and went to TJ Max. Mom got a lot of her work shirts there. This one is my favorite but was not at TJ Max.

That's the shirt I like most for summer. It's kind of a jacket with a shirt sewn into it. My favorite winter shirt is like a blue sweater that dad really likes a lot. It looks like this.

I think all of moms shirts are pretty. She has a lot of plain winter ones that I didn't take pictures of.

Psycho

Hello people today I am going to write about a movie I watched on Friday called Psycho. Spoilers!

So this young girl didn't have very much money and her boyfriend needed to send his ex-wife some money. Her boss was selling the company she worked for and gave the girl 40,000 dollars to put in the bank. She asked him if she could go home after that because she had a headache. She went strait home and stole the money. She packed a suite case and left town.

On the way out of town her boss saw her driving out and made a suspicious face. So she got put of town and pulled over for a short nap. She slept longer then she had intended to and a cop came and woke her up. She was really nervous so the cop followed her to a car dealership. Using 700 of the 40,000 dollars she bought a new car and traded her old car.

So she came to an old Motel called Bates Motel. She stayed for dinner then she was getting a shower when some one came up behind her and stabbed her with a knife. The guy who runs the hotel cleaned everything up and put her and all of her belongings in her car and put the car in the swamp.

Then they sent a detective to the hotel. He found out that it was this hotel that the little thief had been staying at. The hotel keeper wouldn't let him talk to his mother. So he went to a telephone booth and reported back and said he was going to go talk to the mother. So he was walking up the stair's to the mother when the same person came running down the stair's and killed him with a knife.

So the girl that took the money's boyfriend and sister went to take a look. One of them stalled the man while the other searched for the mother to see if she had anything to say. She just found her skeleton in the fruit cellar. She screamed and the killer came and was about to stab her when the guy came in and stopped him. It was a guy in a dress and a wig, the hotel keeper!

So they took him to the police and one of the men found out he was the killer. When his mom died he let himself be half her, and half himself. So whenever he fell in love with a girl his mother side would turn on and kill them. Now the mother side has taken over and is being as calm and motionless as possible so they will let her go and think she wouldn't harm a fly.

So I would give this old black and white movie a five star rating. It was pretty good and scary at times. The next time I take a shower I want to put a freezer box around it so I can hear people if they open it.
