Daddy's Party

Hello everybody. Today I am going to tell you about my Dads birthday party. He had it yesterday, but his actual birthday is today. Anyway he turned 44 today! So Happy Birthday Dad.

My Mom and I spent all day cooking up a storm. We made spinach dip, macaroni, meatballs, hamburgers, hot dogs, green beans, and cup cakes. Then we set up the back yard. There were chairs all around the fire pit. Anyway the party started at 6:00 p.m. We invited some of Dads friends. Scott and Beth were the first ones to arrive. Mario was right behind them. We went to the back yard and then came Larry, Alex, Caleb, Steve, and his family. Then for a while we just hung out while mom grilled hamburgers. Then Matt, Toney, Joshua, and Jordan. Then we brought the food out as two other families came.

Everybody enjoyed the feast for a while. After that all the kids were fighting with nerf weapons. All of the men were checking out dads comic book room. The girls were all talking to each other. Mom started up the fire and everybody sat down for a while. Mom sent me in for something and I realized we forgot about cup cakes! So I brought them out and every body swarmed me.

We all ate our cup cakes happily and quietly around the fire. My dad and Mario were opening his present. It was an Air Jordan orange jacket that Mario had sewn Aquaman patches on. (He is a good sewer don't worry.) Dad really seemed to like it. By then there was only like two families left. Mario couldn't bring his family because his wife is pregnant and almost due.

It seemed like Dad had a great time. I really loved it. I hope this is his best birthday yet.

Camping

Hello everybody. Today I am going to tell you about my camping trip. I went camping with my my Aunt, Uncle, cousins, and family. We like to go camping at Rocky Gap State Park. It is in Maryland about an hour away from us.















We went there on Friday afternoon straight from school. We got there at around 6:00 pm. Aunt Robyn and the rest got there at about 11:00 pm. (They live in New York). We set up everything that night and had hot dogs for dinner. Then we went to sleep in our sleeping bags. The next day we saw Andrew, Isaac, Aunt Robyn, and Uncle Dave. My brothers, cousins, and I went into the woods to explore. We did that for a while and then came back. We had pancakes and bacon awaiting us. After breakfast we explored some more and then we went hiking.















We went hiking on the Lakeside Loop trail. We didn't do the entire trail but we did a good bit then we headed back for lunch. We just ate sandwiches and then we went to the beach. We went swimming and kayaking. I went with Isaac and Aunt Robyn in the kayak. It was a lot of fun. after that we went back to our cabin's. we just hung out and talked and did more exploring for a while. Then we ate dinner. We had a huge dinner of hamburgers and corn.















The next day we were packing and exploring all morning. When we left the campgrounds we went on another hike. This one was through the woods to a dam that was holding back the lake. It was a super fun trail. Then we hiked all the way back. Then we went strait to a restaurant. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but I only give it a two and a half stars. I had a super fun time and I already miss Aunt Robyn, Uncle Dave, Isaac, and Andrew.

I loved camping and taking pictures. It was a lot of fun and I want to go again soon. I miss everyone.

Vermont Trip

Hello people. Today I am going to tell you about my families trip to Vermont. In Vermont we were visiting our grand parents. I hate the trip because it takes thirteen and a half hours to get there.

So we got to Vermont on Wednesday at 4:30 pm and we left by 5:00 am. For dinner we ate pork and zucchini muffins. The next day we decided to go to Best Buy and Chutters. First we headed to Best Buy. My dad had just set up a new iMac for them. Their printer was too old to work with the iMac so they went for a new printer. So after Best Buy we went to Chutters. Chutters is the worlds longest candy counter. We got a lot of candy there. After that we just looked around for a while. Then we went back to my Grandparents house.

My Dad helped my Grandma learn more about her computer. The next day we went motor boating. Ashton was the first one that went in the tube behind the motor boat. I love tubing. Ashton went three times and got flipped two times. Alex also went three times but he didn't go fast enough to wipe out. I went twice and didn't wipe out. Mom also went twice and the first one she had an amazing wipeout. The second time she just took it slow. Dad never went, neither did my Grandparents. Dad sat in a floating chair in the water for a while. We also had lunch on the island.

The next day we didn't do much. Almost all day Dad and Grandmama worked on the iMac. A little after lunch we went to shop at antique stores. My Grandma loves antiques. Her whole house is decorated with them. Every night after dinner we watched a show called Duck Dynasty. It was hilarious. It's on the channel A&E. If you love hilarious shows go watch an episode and see what you think.

I had a great time in Vermont. Thanks Grandmama and Grandaddy. The trip was worth the thirteen and a half hour drive.

Back to School

Back to school

Hello everyone. Today I am going to write a back to school blog. I went back to school on Monday so I've only been there for five days. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I made it into all honors again. I'm with my same friends from last year Sarah and Katey. For homeroom my teaches name is Miss Henderson. She is my science teacher. I have her for homeroom, first period, SPL, and advisory. Miss Henderson seems ok. Then my second period is Mrs. Bryant. She teaches us math. She seems ok too. Then third period I have a special class that I only take for one fourth of the year then get a different special class. I got general computers. My computer teacher is Mr. Moore. He again is ok. Then I have fourth period with Mr. Wright. He teaches social studies. Mr. Write is my favorite teacher. He is super funny. He also sells pop tarts for a dollar. All of the proceeds go to a kid who's parents can't afford to go on a field trip, so it's really nice of him to do that because he buys the pop tarts with his own money. Then we eat lunch.

After lunch we go to fifth period with Mrs. Landerkin. She is my favorite teacher. She is strict and funny at the same time. She teaches us English. She says if a teacher has to read from a book to teach their class that they shouldn't be teaching because they should know what they are talking about. She said she would rather not teach than read from a book while teaching. Next we have sixth period witch is another specials class. In this class Mr. Ridenhour teaches flex. Flex is life skills like getting up and presenting things and stuff like that. He is an ok teacher. Seventh period is with Mr. Walker. He teaches reading. He is my third favorite teacher. He is really funny and nice.

This year everyone seems to be paying more attention to how they look. (All the girls anyway.) I do it to. I pick out an outfit the night before. I also pick out my earrings, necklace, ring, or bracelets out. I always wear the watch that I got from my Aunt and Uncle too. I pick out a lip gloss everyday also. I do my hair every day to.

I'm glad to see my friends some more and the school part is ok. I'm glad to be back in school because it gives me something to do during the day.

Hello everyone. Today I am going to tell you guys about the work party be parents had. They invited 21 people they work with including us and had a party.

There was one family that didn't come. Ross, Steve, and Hannah all played volleyball with me. I made pigs in the blankets and mom grilled hot dogs. Once it started to get dark mom started a fire in the fire pit.

We started to toast marshmallows. After a while Hannah (Ross's daughter) just started lighting them on fire. I tried to take a marshmallow of the stick and it got all over my hands. Luckily it was super easy to wash of.

There was a guy there named Rennes and he had an adorable daughter named Leandra. She was SO cute. She liked to feel my face. She is about four of five months old. My mom said she liked playing volley ball with all of us.

The party was super fun and by the time I had to go to bed I was exhausted.

Volleyball

Volleyball

Hello everybody, today I am going to write about volleyball.






So my Mom signed me up for volleyball a while ago. My team is the Teal Tornadoz. Yes spelled with a z. Since then we have had about 10 practices and two games. Most of the people on my team (like myself) have never played volleyball before. Everyone on the other teams groups are all returning players.






So far we have played blue and gold. We have practice every Tuesday and Wednesday. Every Saturday we have a game. I like to practice in our back yard. Later today Mom, Gramps, and myself are going to set up the volleyball net. The volleyball net is supposed to be for bad mitten.






Sure it's from when I was a kid and it has tinker bell all over it but its still good for practice.I practiced with my mom yesterday and it was super fun. She also ordered me a backpack and a wall decal. To support us at games she got herself a sparkly shirt that says Teal Tornadoz Volleyball.






I have a lot of fun playing volleyball. I'm so glad my mom signed me up. I wasn't sure if I'd like it at first but now I know it is super fun.

Tremors 2 (Spoiler)

Tremors 2 (Spoiler)

Today I will do a review on Tremors 2. My dad says that they get worse each movie. I didn't think it was that bad. The first one was scarier though. This one didn't give me a nightmare.

Valentines partner in the first movie was the star of this movie his name was Earl. In Mexico there had been graboid attacks. A graboid is what they call the giant man eating worms. So anyway the Mexico army gave Earl everything he needed to hunt the graboid like dynamite and remote control toy cars.

So they blew up graboid's like crazy. Soon they found what they thought was a sick one. But it soon had baby's; they weren't worms though. They looked like tiny T Rex's with heat sensors. All the graboid's died and had these new creatures. So now Earl had to figure out how to hunt these.

Since they have heat sensors they can tell if somebody is around because of their body heat. They finally chased every body onto a water tank and one was in a bull dozer. The creatures start jumping on each others backs and the guy hops out of the bull dozer and leads the creatures into a supply house. Then Earl sets of a bomb in the house.

So that's it. They all died. Well maybe because there are three other movies so...yeah. I liked this movie but the first one was better.
