Christmas Decorating

Hi. Today I will tell you about decorating for Christmas. Christmas is in just 23 days and I can't wait!!


















When I was at Sarah's house my Dad, Ashton, Alex, and Uncle Mario put up the outdoor lights and the Santa train. Later that day mom and I went to a tree farm and cut down a REAL Christmas tree. That evening we all decorated the real tree with all the silly, pop culture, comic book, and kids ornaments. We have set up other things too like the advent calendar house and the days till Christmas Santa.















Today we decorated the artificial tree with old fashioned glass ornaments and ribbon. Friday when Alex got home from the Christmas bizarre he put the presents he got for us under the tree. He got a present for each of us and a family present. Tuesday, Steppenwolf knocked the tree over. Nothing was broken beyond repair, but a couple things broke.
















Yesterday we put the skirt on the tree and set up the train. On the empty part of the train there are two presents. One is mom's and one is Ashton's. Alex says his favorite part of Christmas is putting up the ornaments. Mom's favorite is the excitement. Ashton's is the excitement on Christmas Eve when he is trying to sleep and Christmas Eve dinner. He says it always seems more special than Christmas Day dinner. Ashton also says that Dad's favorite part is going in a dark corner of the house and reading comics while we are having fun on Christmas Day. My favorite part is also the excitement on Christmas Eve night when I'm trying to sleep and watching other people's faces light up when they open a present.





















I love Christmas. It is my favorite holiday. I love the music, smiles, and warmth of Christmas.

My 3 Day Weekend

Hi. Today I will tell you about my 3 day weekend. First I will talk about Christmas in Sheperdstown. Second I will talk about going to Uncle Mario's house. Last I will talk about going to Sarah's house. That is what I will talk about this blog post.

So the Christmas in Shepherdstown. On Friday we went to Sheperdstown for a Christmas celebration with Uncle Mario, Rebecca, and Sophia. They are family friends. When we got there a lady read the Grinch and The Night Before Christmas over a loud speaker. Then there was the tree lighting and Santa riding into town on his sleigh. When all that was over you could sit on Santa's lap, but none of us did. Instead we just looked around the little stores. After that I went with Mario, Rebecca, and Sophia to their house.

When I got to their house Sophia went to bed and about an hour after, I did too. The next morning, when I came downstairs, I ate breakfast. I had a pumpkin-cranberry muffin. I played with Sophia for a while after that and then we went to Target to get Christmas tree decorations. We got gold and silver ribbon first. Then we got silver ornaments. After that we went back to their house and decorated the tree. At 2:00 Uncle Mario took me to Sarah's house for a sleepover/birthday party.

When I got to Sarah's house we went upstairs to her room and talked for a while. Then we went back downstairs and she opened my present. She loved them! After a while the other girls came and we had dinner. After dinner we went to the movies and saw Rise of the Guardians. It was a great movie!!! Next we went back to Sarah's house and had ice-cream sundays. Then, and this is my favorite part, we did blind makeovers. It was really fun. After that we went to bed. The next morning we had eggs and sausage. My mom came right after breakfast so I said goodbye and left.

That was my awesome 3 day weekend!! My favorite part was at Sarah's house. Christmas in Sheperdstown was beautiful. Shopping at Target with Rebecca was really fun!! Blind makeovers and the movie were my favorite parts of the party.

Chambersburg Christmas Parade

Hi. Today I will tell you about the Chambersburg Christmas parade that we went to last night.


Last night we went to a Christmas parade in Chambersburg. First we saw stuff like the mayor and advertisements, boring stuff like that. Then we saw baton twirlers, marching bands, dance teams, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and things like that.



My favorite part of the parade was the baton twirlers and hot chocolate. Daddy's was me. Moms was when we moved to the town square. Alex won't tell me what his is. Ashton's was looking at the Jesus that had a buzz-cut.



We didn't stay the hole time because we got tired of standing and we were cold. That was a bummer because we didn't get to see Santa and the tree lighting. It was pretty fun I hope we go again next year.



That was the Chambersburg parade. I will write more next weekend about Thanksgiving.





Another malfunction.

Thanksgiving Party

Hi. Today I will tell you about the Thanksgiving Party that the Lineberry's threw.


When we got there we mostly just hung around for a while. There was Steve, Steph, Bryn, Scott, Beth, Madeline, Larry, Alex, Caleb, and Heath. There were other people there, but I didn't know them. I talked to Beth and held Madeline for a while.



After that we ate. There was turkey, mash potatoes, Mac and cheese, green bean casserole, chocolate cake, monkey bread, cheese with crackers, and chips. There was a lot more like stuffing but I can't name all of them.



Madeline is getting so big! She is adorable!!!!!! I can't wait to help babysit her. It will be so much fun. After we ate I played with Ashton, Alex, Bryn, and Caleb for a while then I just watched TV while Mom, Dad and all the other adults kicked me of the porch while they smoked and talked.



It was one of the best party's that they have had. The best one yet. It seems to get better each year.



Malfunction.
