Scrapbooking

Hello. Today I am going to tell you a little bit about my favorite hobby scrapbooking.

I love to scrapbook in my free time. When I was little I was first encouraged to scrapbook because my aunt does it. Aunt Robyn. The summer of 2012 I went to my aunts apartment in New York. She helped me make a great scrapbook about my trip.

We handmade this scrapbook. Since then I have made three more but they aren't filled yet. My mother also used to scrapbook but not any more. She gave me three books about scrapbooking. That was my encouragement to do a scrapbook on my siblings and myself.

A friend of my dads gave me a great idea. I am going to start doing scrapbooks for family and friends. All I need is pictures and money to buy some supplies to help me build your scrapbook.

If you want to see some more of my scrapbook pages to see if you like them first then comment. If your happy with the pictures on the post then ask me to make you a scrapbook. If your not interested, don't do anything.

I can make you a scrapbook or I can get one with the money I need for supplies?

The Natural Bridge

Hello. Today I m going to tell you about my birthday/mothers day trip to the Natural Bridge.

So on Friday my mom, grandma, and myself went on a vacation to the Natural Bridge. When we got there we went to the gift shop and looked around a while. Then we got lunch. After lunch we went to the Natural Bridge. Then we sat down while a tour guide told us about its history.

The bridge was huge. It was also very cool. The highway, I believe that it is highway 11, runs across the top of the bridge. It is cool because from the top you can't tell that your on the bridge and underneath you can't tell there is a highway.

So once we got to the bridge and the presentation was over we went further down the trail. About five minutes later we got to an Indian camp which was a reenactment of a 1700's Indian tribe. It was pretty neat. Then we went down to a bat poo mine. The mine is called a saltpeter mine. The dung was used to make gunpowder during the Civil War. After that we walked all the way down to the falls. They aren't to big but they are pretty.

I loved going to the Natural Bridge. It was an amazing experience.

Ashton's New Room

Hello. Today I am going to tell you about what we did to Ashton's new room.

So last night we made renovations to Ashton's new room. So first we ripped off most of the wall paper that was around the top of my parent's old room. It was really fun. Ashton kept ripping of entire stripes and I was too short so I just got like the bottom half of them off. It was still really fun destroying a room.

Next we took out the border molding around the perimeter of the room. Well, sort of. We got the baseboard out of the closet out but not the rest of the room. Ashton accidentally made a hole in the wall with the crow bar. We were going to do the rest of the rooms borders but Alex went to bed so mom said no more loud tools.

After we got the borders out we cut the carpet in half. Then we rolled it up and pulled it from the tacks. It was super fun to rip it out. Mom and I did the first half and Ashton and mom did the second half. Then they did the foam underneath. That was pretty easy. I loved ripping out that old carpet.

Now the room just has draping wallpaper and boards on the floors. Mom is going to get wallpaper remover and hard wood flooring in a while.
