Christmas 2015

Hi guys today I am writing about my Christmas 2015.

The day before Christmas Eve my grandmother came. Then on Christmas Eve my other grandparents came. We hung out and talked for a little while. Then we went to The Rumsey Tavern and ate diner. When we got home we had some dessert. We had cookies and ice cream. Then we went into the Christmas room and the kids opened presents from grandparents and each other.

My little brother got me a picture frame and some chocolate. My older brother got me a mascara and an eyeliner. My grandparents got me two books and 4 bath bombs. We saved presents from my other grandma until Christmas Day. After that my father read Santa Mouse. Then we went to bed. I normally have trouble falling asleep on Christmas Eve, but this time it was pretty easy. I woke up at about 7 and everyone was up and my grandparents came from their hotel by 7:30.

We went into the sunroom and we found ourpresents and then we got our stockings. We opened everything in the order that my parents wanted us to. My brothers got some clothes, video games, and a PS4. I got girly things like Pandora charms, makeup, pajamas, slippers, and a really soft blanket. We also opened our presents from our other grandma and she got me a really cool wall organizing rack. Then when our parents and grandparents opened a few presents we ate breakfast. The middle of the day we just played around with each other and our new stuff. After my other grandparents left my grandma and parents opened their presents to each other. After that we went to bed.

I had a pretty great Christmas and I hope you all did too!

The Christmas Carol

Hey guys today I am going to write about The Christmas Carol. This is one of my favorite movies to watch in December.

It starts out with Mr. Scrooge at Bob Marleys funeral. Marley was Scrooges partner in their business. 7 years later he goes to his company his nephew visits him. He invited Scrooge to his Christmas party but Scrooges response was bah humbug. Later when he went home he met the ghost of Marley. He warned him that he needed to change his ways or he would be doomed to carry the heavy chains as a ghost.

Scrooge was haunted my three ghosts. The first one was the ghost of Christmas past. The ghost of Christmas past was the first ghost to come. He was a candle and he took him to his old school. There we saw that the candle showed him left alone on Christmas. The next think he showed was older Scrooge being taken home by his sister. Next he showed a party on Christmas where he met a girl who he married. The last thing the ghost showed him was his wife divorcing him because money had replaced her.

The next ghost was Christmas present. It showed many people trash talking Scrooge. It also showed that tiny Tim was dying. The last ghost was the ghost of Christmas yet to come. This ghost showed that if Scrooge did not change his ways he would die. Since then Scrooge has been a very happy man. He was generous and kind. He became like a father to tiny Tim and Tim lived. He also went to his nephews Christmas party.

This is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies, I highly recommend it. I give it a 9 out of 10.

The Music Man

Hi guys! Today I'm going to talk about a musical I saw with my mother yesterday. The play was at The Old Opera House in Charles Town, West Virginia.

We got there about an hour & a half early. So we walked around town for a little while and then went to a restaurant. It was a little sandwich and ice cream shop. We ate diner and then had some ice cream. The actual musical started at 8. We got there at around 7:30.

When we went in it was pretty much empty. We found our seats and waited for the play to start. One of my parents friends was in the musical. Half way threw the show we had an intermission where we could go downstairs where they had some cookies and soda. There was also a cool little art show to look at. It ended at about 10:30.

The show was about a scam man that came to River City. He was pretending to be a music professor. He was trying to scam parents out of their money by putting their kids in the band. They were paying for things like instruments and uniforms. Then he fell in love with the librarian who also loved him. Her little brother was in the band. The mayor and town people hunted him down and took him to the city hall. At the city hall he was about to be punished but the band of kids showed up and the mayor and people forgave him.

It was a really good musical. I loved all of the music.

Christmas Decorations

Christmas Decorations

Hi guys! Today I am going to tell you about our Christmas decorations. I love seeing all of the different Christmas decorations in December.

So first I'll start with out trees. Every year we put up two trees. We have a small fake one in the living room that we put antique ornaments on. (It came pre-lit) We also wrap some gold ribbon around it and hang up different colored Christmas balls. On the top of the tree is a gold star. Lastly we put some icicles on the tree. Then we have a huge real tree in the sunroom. On the top of the tree we have our angel. We also have three strands of lights and some beads. Then we put all of our other ornaments on it.

Underneath or big tree we put a tree skirts. Then we have a few presents under the tree. Next we have our advent calendar. We've had the advent calendar for a long time. It's a really cute house that has our last name on the mail box. Then next to it we have a nutcracker. We also have a snoopy collection thing. In the corner of the sunroom we have a inflatable Santa.

Lastly we have our stockings hanging off of the table with our Christmas village on it. The village is Department 56- Dickens Village. We have a lot of different pieces like Scrooge & Marley's shop, Scrooges house, Fred's house, Bob Cratchit's house, and multiple churches. We also have many accessories like trees, streetlights, carriages, and woodland creatures. It's a very cute and fun village and it looks super cool.

So that's all we've put up so far for our decorations but there will be more to come!

Christmas In Sheperdstown

Christmas In Sheperdstown

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk to you about The Christmas In Sheperdstown Tree Lighting Ceremony. It was on last Friday and we went with some family friends.

We got there around 5 and we looked around in some of the cute little shops for a while. We bought a few little things and then around 5:30 we went to the town center because they were going to read The Night Before Christmas and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. They actually started reading at almost 6:30.

We got some hot chocolates and we listened to the stories. At the end of the stories the mayor talked a little and then they lit the tree. Sheperdstown was pretty nicely decorated. After the tree lighting we went to a restaurant and we all had chili and corn bread.

Overall it was a really fun night and I enjoyed hearing the stories and seeing the tree be lit.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Hi guys. Today I'm going to write about a movie called plains, trains, and automobiles. This is a comedy although some parts are the exact opposite of funny.

So the movie starts out with Neal Page at work being held up late. He has a plane ticket for 6 o'clock and can't get out of work. Once he finally does get out of work the traffic is terrible. Someone ends up stealing the cab he paid 75 dollars for. When he finally gets to the airport it's about 7 o'clock but it's ok because the plane was delayed. While waiting for the plane Neal sees the guy who stole his cab. They argued about it for a little while until the plane boarded. He ended up having to sit next to the guy who stole his cab, Del.

That's how this movie got started. We find out they're going to Chicago for Thanks Giving. They end up fighting, traveling, sharing a room, and car riding together. Once or twice Neal got mad at Del because he was annoying. In a car accident they crashed and then their car light on fire.

They drive this car for a while until a police officer says it's unsafe. Then they get a ride in a freezing cold truck home. Neal is about to go home for Thanksgiving just when he realizes Del doesn't have a family to be with. So they go home together and Del spends Thanksgiving with Neal and his family. This movie was pretty good and has some funny parts but also some really sad ones.

Overall I do recommend it. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5

Looking For Alaska

Looking For Alaska

Hi guys! Today I am writing a review and summary on Looking For Alaska. This blog won't be a complete spoiler but it you want the book to be a surprise for you then you probably shouldn't read it.

So the book starts out with a guy named Miles going to a new school for the first time. When he meets his roommate he kind of fits into his friend group. His roommate is Chip and his friends are Alaska, Lara, and Takumi. Miles is pranked again and again. Probably the worst one was him being duct taped and thrown into a lake. Miles has a crush on Alaska. She tutored him in pre-calculus.

They were all found smoking my the dean. They wanted to prank them back so they set up fireworks and pranked them. Miles and Alaska got drunk one night and fell asleep. Alaska got up in the night and started driving which resulted in a crash and her death.

This book is really good and fun to read. It does have a very sad ending though. Miles does eventually come to peace with her death. I think this book is very well written and it's by my favorite author, John Green. I'd give Looking For Alaska a 8.5 out of 10. Some other books I recommend from John Green are The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns.

I can't wait to read his holiday book. I hope you all enjoy or enjoyed reading Looking For Alaska.

My Week

My Week

Hi guys! Today I'm going to write about the past week. My grandmother came to visit us and she got here on Friday night.

On Saturday in the morning my parents took her to a BMW dealership in Sterling,VA. She bought a red BMW. That took a good while of the day. When they got back we hung out for a while and then they went out to dinner.

Sunday morning we went to the Apple Store in Maryland. My grandmother got a rose gold iPhone 6s Plus. After that we went to the world of beer for lunch. Then we went to the mall.

The rest of the week I was at school except for Tuesday. On Tuesday I got to stay home and we went to a different mall just my grandmother, mom, and I. We bought some fun things like clothes and bath and body works.

Then she left yesterday morning. It was really fun to see her again.

Halloween

Halloween

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about my Halloween.

Around 3 we carved our pumpkins. My grandmother and I carved the regular triangle face, my little brother used a print, and my mom and older brother carved evil faces. After we carved our pumpkins we got into our costumes.

I dressed as spider woman. We bought my dress at Halloween City. Then I just wore tights and converse.

We went to a family friends house with my Grandmother around 5. When we got there we ordered and ate Kings Pizza. Then we talked for a while until 6. We all went out taking my little brother and their daughter trick or treating. Beth and I only walked for about ten minutes and then we went back home to hand out candy.

Their neighborhood gets a good amount of people coming around to the houses. We passed out candy and talked until 8. Then they all came back and we just hung out for a while. We snacked on leftover candy and apple cider. We went home at maybe 8:30.

My Halloween was pretty fun. I hope yours was too.

Things I Love and Hate About Fall

Hi guys today I am going today I am going to talk about what I love and hate about fall.

So I'll start out with what I do like about fall. Probably one of my favorite things about fall is the colors that the leaves change. I like seeing the red, orange, and yellow leaves before they turn brown and die. I also like the food. I did another blog on fall foods that I enjoy. Next I like picking pumpkins for Halloween and carving them.

The biggest thing I don't like about fall is going back to school. I started high school this year and it's actually going really good. Another thing I hate about fall is the weather. Most of the time it's really cold and I would much rather be hot then cold. I also don't like that it's really windy in the fall.

Overall I do really like fall I just really hate being cold. Another thing I like about fall is that volleyball season starts. I also like that Halloween is in the fall and it's cool to see all of the costumes people wear.

So that's what I love and hate about fall.

Hi guys! Today I'm going to talk about this years homecoming. It was really fun and I had a great time with my friends.

So at 3:00 my friend Kaitlyn came over to get ready with me. We did our hair together and then I did her makeup. My dad ordered us pizza, and then we got dressed. We took a few pictures and then left at around 6:00. We went to a church with a lot of our friends and took pictures with them. Our homecoming started at seven and ended at ten. It was really cold outside so we left a little early and got to my high school about half an hour early. This meant that we didn't have to wait in any of the long lines to get in we were all at the front.

The color theme of our homecoming was red and black. The cafeteria was decorated really well. Since it was pretty early there wasn't many people actually dancing. Since there were about 20 of the people I came with we went out and started to dance a little. There was a snack table but soon it was crowded and there were things on the floor. All the girls there were really pretty all dressed up in homecoming dresses.

It was really fun because I got to see a lot of my old friends I went to middle school with but go to different high schools now. Towards the end of the night I was really tired so I didn't dance as much as just talk to people. Trying to leave it was pretty crowded too. Thankfully my mom got there early and her car was right outside the door.

I had so much fun! I look forward to going again next year.

Homecoming Dress Shopping

Homecoming Dress Shopping

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about my homecoming 2015 dress shopping. I went with my mom and my friend Ashley.

When we first got to the mall we went to a Chinese place for lunch. Then the first store we went to was Ooh La La and it was okay but there weren't many dresses. We looked around and decided the place would probably be a lot better for prom. The next place we went to was Macy's.

Macy's probably had a total of six dresses. None of them were very nice either so we went to Bon Ton. Bon Ton didn't have even have a formal dress section so we just looked around at some other things. Next we went to JC Penny's. At JC Penny's we got sidetracked and went into Sephora for a while. After we got out of Sephora we looked at the dresses. I tried on a few and bought one.

I'd post a picture but you're just going to have to wait until my blog on homecoming next week. Then we went back into Sephora and we bought a few things. After that we went to Victoria's Secret and bought a few things. After that we came home. Ashley stayed with me for a while but eventually went home.

I had a great time and it was really fun. I love my dress!! I'm looking forward to homecoming to have some fun with my friends. I plan on getting ready with Kaitlyn and Ashley. We'll hang out for a while and then order pizza. After we eat we will get ready and go to homecoming! We might take pictures at a nice place before we go.

Favorite Fall Foods

Favorite Fall Foods

Hi guys! Today I’m going to write about the foods that I like to eat in the fall.

So I’m starting out with some foods I like to eat for breakfast. We get probably everything in this blog from Orr’s Farmers Market and if we don’t then I’ll tell you. The first is apple butter. I like spreading apple butter on toast for breakfast. The next food is lemon honey or cinnamon honey. I like them both a lot but I prefer cinnamon. This tastes good on toast, sandwiches, and in tea.

For just regular lunch and dinner foods I like pumpkin, apples, squash, and corn. Since I have braces I can’t really eat apples or corn on the cob. So I eat corn off the cob. I also made applesauce with my Grandmother. Pumpkin can be eaten in a lot of different ways. I also like different fall berries. Especially in pies.

Now I’m going to talk about desserts. I have many favorite fall desserts. Apple cinder donuts, apple pies, and candy corn are among my favorites. Apple cider donuts or apple pie is probably my favorite. The last time we went to Orr’s we bought a really good dutch apple pie. It was basically a sugar covered apple pie and it was amazing. We also bought a six pack of really good apple cider donuts and a small bag of candy corn. I know you can have candy corn year around but it’s more popular in the fall. My brothers and I love candy corn.

So those are my favorite fall foods!! Fall is probably my favorite food season. (Starbucks also comes out with their pumpkin spice lattes!!!)

High School

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk to you about my high school experience so far. My school is only three years old so it's really nice and very big.

First of all, most of my teachers said don't worry you will have barely any homework in this class at orientation. DON'T BELIEVE THEM! So far we do get a pretty good amount of homework but most of the time you get to start it in class. I also like to do some at lunch so I have less to do when I get home. The teachers are better at not giving homework on the weekend though. The reason I like to finish all or most of my work at school is because sometimes I get home really late after volleyball practice or games.

My teachers are okay. The only one who's not amazing is my math teacher. She's not terrible but she is a little mean and doesn't explain what she's doing to well. My science teacher seems like she would be pretty nice if she wasn't due to have a baby in December. All of my other teachers are really nice so far and their classes are pretty hard but good.

So far I like most of the people I've met from different middle schools. I had most of my classes with at least someone I knew from my middle school except for first period. My first period is filled with mostly seniors, I'm the only freshman. I've made some pretty good friends from both having classes with them, and being on the volleyball team.

So far high school has been pretty good. I'm liking it a lot so far!

Camping With Helena

Camping With Helena

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about the camping trip I went on this weekend. Last week one of my friends invited my little brother and I to go camping with her family.

Helena is two years younger than me and her little brother, Nathan, is one year older then my little brother. So we got to the camp on Friday about two hours after school ended. We got there and set up our things. Then we rode our bikes around a little. When we got back we ate turkey burgers for dinner. Next we went to the mini golf course we have there and Helena won. After that we made s'mores. Then we went to bed and it was freezing.

The next day when we woke up it was raining. We had a tent set up outside so we didn't have to stay in the camper. We ate breakfast and decided to play some games. The fist game we played was spoons. Alex lost the first time and the second time we didn't finish. Then we played Life and Helena won. After that we played King of Tokyo and I'm not sure who won but I know it wasn't me. Later that day when it stopped raining we went to a heated pool they had on the campsite. We didn't get to play lazier tag or zip line because of the rain.

Then on Sunday, today, we didn't do to much. Helena had a soccer game at 11:15 so we left at 10:30. Her soccer game lasted for about three hours. They won the game and we were playing black jacks with a set of cards.

It was a pretty fun weekend but I wish it didn't rain.

Cabana Party

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about a small party we had last nigh to celebrate my mom finishing the cabana we have in our back yard.

So we had a party last night with a few family friends. My parents invited some of their friends and I invited two of mine. My friends got there pretty early so we hung out for a while. I invited Sarah and Emily. We played some volleyball in the back yard while some of our other guests arrived. When almost everyone got there we started to eat. We had a mix of hot dogs, hamburgers, fruits, vegetables, and things like that.

For desert I had an amazing icing covered brownie. After we ate another family got here. Their daughter, Helana, hung out with me and my friends for a while. We played more volleyball white the adults made a campfire and sat around it.

We talked for a while and then Sarah and Emily had to leave. Helana and I talked about going camping together and played more volleyball. Soon everyone started to leave and we cleaned up. One of my parents's friends stayed and played a card game with them while I went to bed.

It was a really fun night and I was super tired by the time it ended.

My Friday

Hi guys! Today I am going to tell you about my eventful Friday.

So the first part of my Friday was a pep rally. After lunch, most of us (not including me) went to the stadium. All of the sports teams (including me for volleyball) went onto the field. They called us up to the microphones to introduce each team. Then we went into the bleachers in a separate section for the sports teams. I soon separated from my team and walked over to my other friends. It was Sarah's first day back to school since she got back from Japan and it was the first time I had seen her all day.

After the pep rally I went home for about an hour and a half and then went back to school for volleyball practice. We did our usual warm ups and then practiced six on six for a little while. If you get five serves over and the other team doesn't return them then it's called an ace. I got an ace and every time we get an ace in our practice our coach gets mad that the other team didn't return the ball so she makes us run for the last half hour.

After practice I went to the football game. I was there with some of my friends from volleyball and some other friends. Sarah, Ava, and I hung out and talked for a while and then we got some slushies. After that I bought a shirt supporting my school. Then I just sat in the bleachers talking to a few people before I had to leave. It was only third quarter when I left but my friend told me we won and the team we were facing had no points.

So that was my Friday. It was really fun but also very tiring.

First Week of School 2015-16

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about my first week of high school.

My high school is pretty huge so I had to us a map to find my classes the first three days until I got the hang of it. My fist class of the day, computer programming, is pretty fun so far. We haven't done to much but we got to make power points about ourselves. My next class is health, it's probably my favorite class. We do activities like fitness Friday and movement Monday, but my teacher is very nice. My next class is honors science. So far it has been extremely boring. My fourth period is social studies. So far I really like it and the teacher is fun too. For fifth period I have honors English. I also really like my English teacher. She is very fun and creative. My sixth period is honors math. My teacher seems okay but kind of boring. For my last period I have French 2. I took French last year so I only need one more credit. This class seems pretty good.

My first day of school was a little confusing and boring. It was hard to find my classes and they were mostly very boring. Lunch was pretty good, I have it with most of my friends and its a much longer lunch which is nice. At the end of the school day I had volleyball tryouts.

We ran through our basic volleyball exercises and the coaches went into the locker room to talk about who made the team the called the people who didn't make it out separately and then told the rest of us that we did and gave us our jerseys and spandex. We had practice everyday this past week and next week so I was supper exhausted towards Thursday and Friday.

Overall my week went okay but definitely could have gone much better.

My High School Orientation

My High School Orientation

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about things that happened during my high school orientation. Tomorrow (Monday) will be my first day of my freshman year.

So the first thing that happened when we got there was them giving us a new schedule. Next we just went to the gym and waited until a good amount of people showed up.then the principal and a few other staff members talked for a while about what they wanted from us, how to behave, and the school rules/dress code. When that was over the more interesting part of the orientation started.

We were given a map of the school and we all went to our first class. Mine was computer programming. The teacher introduces themselves and then tells you the supplies you need and what you will be doing in the class. My second class is health. The nest class I have is physical science honors. For fourth period I have work history. Next I have have english honors. My sixth period is math honors. Lastly I have french two.

I'm not that nervous for my fist day of high school, I'm actually more excited. Everyone plays it up that if you're a freshman you're going to be picked on by upper class-men. The truth is a few of them might do that but most of them are really nice. The thing that I'm most nervous about is my volleyball tryouts. I'm trying out right after school. My friend Shelby and I have been on the recreation center team for the past few years so now we're going to tryout together.

So that was my high school orientation and a little bit about how I think my first day will go.

Here I Go Again Book Review

Here I Go Again Book Review

Hi guys! Today I'm writing about one of the books I just finished. The book is called Here I Go Again by Jen Lancaster.

So this starts out with a very spoiled girl having the perfect life. She married her high school sweetheart who's rich. Ten years later he divorces her because she's mean and doesn't have a job. So she gets a potion and time travels to when she was in high school and gets nicer. In the future she is pretty nice and this time she is the one that is rich.

Her husband still divorces her because he's bored and wants a job and her father dies in a car accident because he was fighting with her mother. So again she time travels but this time she finds her true love and when she goes back to the future she is married to him with three kids and she makes her parents be nicer to each other.

I think that this is a really good book. I finished it really fast because I was so into reading it. It's a really good book in my opinion and I wish I could keep it but it's a library book. I will definitely look into more books by Jen Lancaster. I would give this book an eight out of ten.

So that is my book review on Here I Go Again by Jen Lancaster.

Books 2015

Books 2015

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about some of my favorite books for 2015 and also some books that I want to read. (No spoilers, just brief summaries.)

So by far my favorite author is John Green. I have five of his books. One of them I have digitally on my iPad and it's called Paper Towns. The other four I have in paperback form, they are called Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherine's, The Fault in Our Stars, and Let It Snow. The first one that I read was The Fault in Our Stars. This book is what got me hooked on books by John Green. This book is about two teenagers with cancer that fall in love.

The next one is called Paper Towns its a really good book about a girl and a boy that grew up as neighbors and he has always liked her, but one day she runs away and he starts looking for her.
The other three books I have by him I haven't read yet because I'm in the middle of a really good book that I'm really close to finishing. It's called Here I Go Again by Jen Lancaster. It's a really good book about a girl who makes a lot of mistakes so she time travels to try and fix them but causes time ripples.

I also have another book to read called Stirring The Pot by Jenny McCarthy. Two of my favorite books to read are Love? Maybe. by Heather Helper and Bliss by Kathryn Littlewood. I have re-read Love? Maybe. at least five times. Now I want to talk about Let It Snow by John Green. I haven't read it yet but it has three different stories in it and only one of them is by John Green. The other authors are Maureen Johnson and Lauren Muracle. This is a holiday book that I look forward to reading in December.

That was my Books 2015 blog! I hope you liked it and I hope you read something from it!

Kids Expectations vs Reality: Being a Teenager (Girls)

Kids Expectations vs Reality: Being a Teenager (Girls)

Hi guys! Today's blog is another expectations vs reality. This one is a little different because this is a kids expectations vs reality of being a teenager (girls).

So the first topic is High School Musical. The expectations were that we would always be breaking out into a song for no real reason. The reality is pretty much that that only happens in movies. The next topic is dances. The expectation for going to a dance was that it would be a huge castle with ballroom dresses like in princess movies. The reality is the closest thing most girls get to that is their prom.

The next topic is prom queen. The expectation is that you will win prom queen. The reality is that for some girls you do win but for most you don't.The next expectation is your prom date who you expect to win prom king so you dance together. The reality again is that only happens for one guy in every school. Next is Hannah Montana. As a little girl your expectation is to be just like Hannah Montana were you're an amazing singer who wears a wig and nobody knows who you really are.

The next topic is Hannah Montana's closet.Your expectation is to have a closet just like her where you have a tiny little closet and when you push the closet aside there is a huge door leading to a huge room filled with clothes and shoes. The reality is you will probably just have a tiny closet with no hidden doors. The last expectation is to have a huge princess bedroom with pink everywhere, tons of clothes, and things like that. The reality is you will probably have a normal size room with a normal amount of clothes.

I hope you enjoyed this blog!

Expectaions vs Reality: High School

Expectations vs Reality: High School

Hi guys today I'm going to talk about my school expectations vs reality. In August I'm starting my first year of high school. I have many expectations for high school, some are bad and some are good.

So my first expectation is that I would dress nice the entire year. The reality is that after about two weeks I give up and I'm back to sweats and t-shirts. My next expectation is that my first school lunch in high school will be terrible. In my mind I won't have anyone to sit with and I'll be alone. The reality is I'll probably have lunch with at least some of my friends.

The next topic I have is my teachers. My expectation for the teachers is that they will all be either really nice or just okay. The reality is I'll probably have one mean teacher, one nice teacher, and the rest will probably just be okay. Next my topic is the people. My expectation is that they will all just be a little mean and not really talk to me because I didn't go to the same middle school as them. The reality is that it probably won't be that bad and it might be a little harder to make friends at first but I'll probably find people.

This next expectation is since I'll be a freshman the seniors, juniors, and sophomores, won't be very nice. The reality is that some of them probably will be rude but I also know some really nice juniors and sophomores. My last expectation is that I will be lost because the school is so huge and I won't be able to find my classes. The reality is I probably will have some trouble with that but it's the first day and a lot of kids probably will and it probably won't be as bad as I'm thinking.

So those are my high school expectations vs reality. I hope you enjoyed!

Music

Music

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about my music. I will talk about the music I have purchased recently and what I've been more in to.

Okay so my three favorite songs that I have purchased recently are Fight Song by Rachel Platten, Bright by Echosmith, and Worth It by Fifth Harmony. Other songs I have recently purchased that I really like are Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran, A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay, Want To Want Me by Jason Derulo, All I Want by Kodaline, Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor, Riptide by Vance Joy, and Shut Up And Dance by Walk the Moon.

Some of the older songs that I've been listening to more are Wake Me Up by Avicii, Shower by Becky G, Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri, Burn by Ellie Goulding, Not Over You by Gavin DeGraw, Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heros, The Reason by Hoobastank, Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae, Domino by Jessie J, Heartbeat Song, by Kelly Clarkson, Need You Now by Lady Antebellum, Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, Wings by Little Mix, Maps by Maroon 5, Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield, Am I Wrong by Nico & Vinz, Story Of My Life by One Direction, I Lived by One Republic, Fireflies by Owl City, Try by P!nk, Let Her Go by Passenger, Hey, Soul Sister by Train, We Are Young by Fun, Clarity by Zedd, and She Looks So Perfect by 5 Seconds Of Summer.

I like these songs because most of them are inspiring. Most of them give me energy when I run or work out. Also, if I relate to what they're singing about its nice to know that people think or go through some of the things that I do. My last reason that I love these songs is simply because I love music.

Most of the songs I've talked about today are pop music songs. I listen to these songs mostly just at the gym. The rest of the time when I'm listening to music, oddly enough, it's probably Glee a Christmas Music. I've always loved Christmas music especially around Christmas but also year around. I listen to it when I run, do dished, laundry, when I'm bored, etc.

So that is my music blog! If you have music suggestions I would love to hear them!

My 4th Of July

My 4th Of July

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about what I did on 4th of July.

I started the day of by waking up at 6:05 to go to the gym. That tired me out a lot. When we got back I showered and had lunch. Then I took my little brother on a walk around our neighborhood. We just hung out for a while until about 4:30.

At 4:30 we went to go to one of our family friend's, Josh and Amanda's, house. We got there around five with our friends Scott, Beth, and Madeline. We went to the back yard and set up our chairs. We sat in the circle in talked for a little while. Alex went down stairs to play x-box and Maddie played in some of the inflatable water slides they had set up in their back yard.

Then we ate dinner and hung out outside for a while until it started to get dark. Then we went out front and we could see the fireworks from the park. So we watched those and then went home.

I had a great 4th of July and I hope you did too!!!!

Expectations vs Reality: Summer 2015

Expectations vs Reality: Summer 2015

Hi guys! Today I am going to be doing a blog on summer 2015 expectations vs reality. This is going to be a new series of blogs I'm starting called expectations vs reality.

So the first topic is swimming. My expectation for swimming in the summer is going almost every weekend to a pool with friends and family to swim together and hang out. My reality for swimming in the summer is going swimming about once or twice a month. My next topic is dressing. My expectation for how I dress in the summer is almost every outfit would be really cute. My reality for how I dress in the summer is sweatpants and baggy old t-shirts 90% of the time.

The next topic will be healthy eating. My expectation for healthy eating in the summer is at least one meal every day that is super healthy and all of my snacks would be something good for me. My reality for healthy eating is about two healthy meals a week. I still find my self searching through the cabinets trying to find junk foods.

Next, my topic is seeing friends. My expectation was to hang out with them, go swimming, or have sleepovers in the summer. My reality is I stay at home 90% of the time. I probably could do some of those things but I never really plan them out or talk to people about it. The last topic for this blog is my music expectation. In the summer my expectations for music was listening to songs that either talk about summer or give me energy like exercise songs. My reality for music in the summer is mainly Glee Christmas music.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog! Have a great day and summer 2015.

Ocean City 2015

Ocean City 2015

Hi guys! Today I am going to tell you about my family trip to Ocean City, New Jersey. My family goes to Ocean City every year as a tradition.

So we got to Ocean City a little after lunch time on Saturday. We unpacked and hung out for a while. My grandmother arrived soon after we got there. We walked on the boardwalk for a while. The next day we went to the beach. We had a great time swimming in the ocean and sitting with our feet in the sand. Later that night, after dinner, we all went to see Jurassic World. It was a really good movie and I might even like it better then the first one.

The next day it rained a lot in the morning so we couldn't go to the beach. The boys in my family and my grandmother went to the beach. My mom and I went to the boardwalk for our Mommy & me day. We shopped, watched a movie, and had lunch. It was really fun. I got a sports jacket that says Ocean City New Jersey on it. I also got a cute dress from the surf mall. The movie we saw was Pitch Perfect 2 and it was amazing!!

The next day my mom and two brothers went fishing in the morning for part of their mommy & me day. My dad, grandmother, and I went to the beach and I swam in the ocean for a while. We came back and my older brother was home. My mom and little brother were out for the rest of their mommy & me day. Later that night we ate the fish that they caught. The next day we went to the beach and when we got back my Aunt and two cousins had come. The next day was another rainy day so we didn't do to much. After lunch we went to Boardwalk Bounce and all the kids bounced for a while. Then we went back to the house. I napped while my cousins and little brother went to the beach with my Aunt. The last full day we were there we went to the beach and walked the boardwalk.

I always have an amazing time at Ocean City and I look forward to going again next year!

Summer 2025 Plans

Summer 2015 Plans

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about what I plan on doing this summer.

So first, I'm going to Ocean City, New Jersey for a week. I always have a great time when I'm there and I will do a blog on it. I also plan on having more fun this summer then I did summer 2014. I want to see more friends and do more fun exercises. I like doing things like rock climbing, playing volleyball, and swimming. I also like to play soccer.

I want to do more D.I.Y. projects. I have done a few but I really like making things. I also want to read more. I really like good books. My favorite books are The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and Love?Maybe. They are both really good and I have re-read Love?Maybe. multiple times. For example the next book I want is called Paper Towns by John Green. I have really been liking books by him recently.

I also want to bike more this summer. I have a pretty good bike but I don't use it to much. I really like biking on the boardwalk at Ocean City. Lastly I want to not be as lazy. Last summer I watched to much TV and laid around.

That's what I plan on doing this summer! I hope it is really fun and I get to see a lot of my friends.

Camping Trip

Camping Trip

Hi guys! Today I am going to tell you about the camping trip my family and I went on last weekend. Since it was a three day weekend we got to stay a little longer.

So when we first got there on Friday night after school and work, we checked in and bought fire wood. The rest of the day just consisted of unpacking, exploring the woods, and just hanging out. We roasted hot dogs over the fire for dinner that night.

The next day we went hiking. We hiked part of The Lakeside Loop Trail. Then we went back to the camp and hung out again for a while. My mom set up a hammock and I slept in it for a while. For dinner we had chicken and baked potatoes. It was really good and then we made smores after dinner.

On Sunday we went down to the lake. My older brother and I threw a frisbee around in the water for a while while my parents and little brother kayaked on the lake. Then we switched and my older brother and I kayaked. After kayaking we bought ice cream and hung out on the beach. After that we just hung out at the cabin for the rest of the day. On Monday we were worn out so we just packed up and went home.

So that was our camping trip. It was pretty fun and we will go again soon.

Things I Do When I'm Bored

Things I Do When I'm Bored

Hi guys! Do you ever get so bored you just don't know what to do? Here are some ideas of what you can do when your bored.

First I like to read. I think everyone should have a book or two that they read over and over again and can't seem to stop. For me, I love the books "Love? Maybe." and "The Fault In Our Stars". Both of those books are really good and you should try them. Next I like to knit. Right now I'm working on a scarf. Look up a tutorial on YouTube and once you get the hang of it it's not really that hard.

Next is organizing your room. I do this a lot when I'm bored. I get tired of seeing the same thing all the time so I change it up a bit. I also organize my clothes and random drawers around my room. I also just love to listen to music. I tend to listen to music about what emotions I'm feeling at the moment. Another thing I like to do is plan out some outfits. I mess around with some of my clothes or other things.

Another thing is cooking. I love cooking. Making deserts are my favorite. One of my favorite things to do is go outside and play volleyball. Play whatever sport you love. Even going outside and shooting your friends with water guns is fun. Lastly I like to nap or just relax. Sometimes it's nice to sleep or watch some TV and not worry about anything.

These are just some of the things I like to do when I'm bored and have free time.

Annapolis Trip

Annapolis

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about our trip to Annapolis. Every mothers day weekend my grandmother, mother, and I go somewhere. I go for my birthday witch is usually the day of or next to Mothers Day and my mom and grandma go for Mother's Day.

The first day we got to Annapolis we walked main street most of the way. We first stopped in a little boutique called Lou Lou's. There my mom bought a hat, sunglasses, and a pair of earrings. I bought a solid perfume. Then we went to a few stores where nobody bought anything. Then we went to The Black Dog. There I bought a white sweatshirt. Next we went into a local souvenir store and I bought a hoodie. My mom bought a patch and my grandma bought an airplane for my granddad. Then we ate lunch at O'Brian's. It was really good food. Then I bought sunglasses at another souvenir store. Lastly we bought fudge and headed to our hotel.

On Saturday (my birthday) we finished shopping on Main Street. My grandma bought a shirt for my cousin that says top gun on it. Then we went to anther boutique called The Brown Eyed Girl. There I bought a dress. Then we took a 90 minute Cruz on the Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay. We went under the Annapolis bridges. It was really pretty and fun. We ate in for dinner and I had a great birthday.

On Sunday (Mother's Day) we went to my grandmas house and then to Tyson's Corner Mall. My grandparents got new phones and we ate lunch. They exchanged mothers day presents and cards. I also went to Charlotte Russe and Forever 21 and got some cute clothes.

We all had a great time and we are looking forward to doing something else next year.

Birthday Party

Birthday Party

Hi guys so today I am going to be talking about my birthday party I had yesterday. It was a backyard barbecue with a few friends.

I had two of my school friends over and then some family friends. Sarah and Kaitlyn are the two that I invited. Sarah stayed the night with me and Kaitlyn left at around 9:00 the part ended at around 10:30 and our guests went home. Some left at earlier times than others.

To prepare for the party I put up streamers and balloons. It took me about an hour to blow up 35 balloons. My older brother helped me hang the streamers. I was to short to reach the top of our cabana. Other than that we just cleaned up a little. It wasn't too bad preparing for it. My mom grilled the food and it was really good.

During the party we played a lot of volleyball. It was really fun playing with so many people in a circle. We hung out at a picnic table and talked a lot too. We had a great time laughing and messing around. Then we came inside and Derek and I played a game of checkers that I won. We talked more and then everyone went home. We were really tired so Sarah and I fell asleep almost instantly.

That was my birthday party and I had a great time. Thank you to everyone that got me something. I'm glad that I got to spend time with my friends and I loved it.

Touring WVU

Touring West Virginia University

Hi guys so today I am going to write about touring my state college campus. The college is called West Virginia University (WVU).

We went to the information center for the tour. We looked around there until it started. We road a tour bus all around Morgantown and our guide showed us the inside of some of the buildings. There were many different buildings for the different majors. There was also a PRT. WVU is one of the only schools in the nation with a PRT. It transports students around campus. They also had a Mountaineer Lounge.

In the Mountaineer Lounge there are many different restaurants and a movie theater. It's really big. There are two different libraries. One is open 24 hours and the other is open until 10 pm. There are two different types of dorms. There is the sweet style dorm which is where you share a room with a room mate and a bathroom with two other girls. The community style is where you have a room mate and share a bathroom with about 25 other people. Most of the dorm buildings had places you can eat too.

We also got to go inside a class room. It was really big and had small desk tops. It looked like a small auditorium. They also had a Barns and Nobel for WVU which had a Starbucks inside. We also saw there recreation center. The center had a huge swimming pool, 7 basketball courts, a workout center, a track for running, a 50 foot rock wall, and more.

That was the tour of WVU. I really liked it and so far that's were I want to go for college.

Pompeii

Pompeii

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about a movie I saw Friday night. The movie is called Pompeii and it is pretty interesting. The actual story probably didn't happen but, the volcano, Pompeii, did explode and kill many people covering them in stone.

So in the beginning of the movie Milo(the main character played by Kit Harrington) watched his family get killed my the Romans. He was taken to become a savage. He fought in many different arenas and never lost. One day he was taken to Pompeii. He was to fight a gladiator in their arena. Officials from Rome were there to watch and possibly give Pompeii money to help make their town better.

The princess of Pompeii fell in love with him and they tried to run away but got caught. Milo got 15 lashes for that. The next day was the fight. The Roman official wanted to marry the princess but she didn't like him. He threatened to kill her family so she agreed. She still loved Milo. The fight was all of the fighter chained to a pole with a sword and shield while the Pompeii army came out and fought them. All of the savages died except for Milo and the gladiator. They took out the entire army. The Roman leader got mad and sent his troops into the arena to kill them but that's when the earthquake happened. It was a sign of the volcano about to blow, but nobody knew it.

Houses and building started tumbling and everyone started getting on boats to leave. The boats that got in the water were destroyed by a tsunami. The Roman guy had locked the princess in a building so Milo went back for her. They headed towards the mountains knowing that the sea wasn't safe. They encountered the Roman who fought Milo for the princess. Milo won by chaining him to wood and letting the volcano do the rest. They got a bourse and the bourse went as far as in could but couldn't take both of them. Milo wanted her to go but she made the house run and stayed with him. The lava hit them when they were kissing and they were encased in stone like that.

So this is a really good movie. I liked it and it was interesting. The story of Pompeii (the real one) is very sad but still quite interesting and cool.

Room Update

Room Update

Hi guys so today I am going to be talking about my bed room updates. If you have read my earlier blogs I got a new room a little over a year ago and it's almost finished.

So first I got a dresser and it was a light tan color. My mom stained it black. We got really pretty crystal knobs for it but we didn't buy the right screws so they aren't in yet. I like to change up the decorations that I put on top of it about once every three months. Next is my closet. So I got a shoe rack for the bottom of my closet that holds most of my shoes. I also have a draw set in it. I need to get curtains for it because I don't want the sliding doors that it had before.

Then when you first walk into my room I have a bookcase. I also change that up around every three months. Right now there is nothing in the bottom shelf but other than that it is mostly jewelry and a vase with fake flowers in it. Next to that I have my vanity. It doesn't have a lot on top. I just have a picture and a mirror tray with a few things on it. In my drawers I have makeup, bags, and assorted crafts.

Next is my bed. My comforter is black so I can have any color on it. Right now it's a black and white theme with some stuffed animals on it. Then I have a corner with a bean bag chair and a little night stand next to it with my alarm clock on it. Other than all of that I have pictures up in my room. I also have two shelves above my drawers that have decorations and pictures on them.

So that's my room! I have to get closer curtains and screws for my dresser but that's pretty much it.

Spring Break

Spring Break

Hi guys today I am going to talk about my spring break. I just wanted to say happy Easter!!

Ok so first I will talk about antique shopping yesterday with my family. My mom loves to go antique shopping. So yesterday we went to Berkley Springs and walked around to little flea markets. We walked around three different ones. We didn't find anything in the first one. The second one my dad bought a shelf for his super heroes to be displayed on. In the last store my mom bought an old bench for a new entertainment center.

Next I will talk about Easter. Today we dyed our Easter eggs. We each got six eggs to dye. We did fun patterns and ombré colors. We had pink, yellow, green, dark blue, light blue, and orange. They turned out really pretty. We used the wax crayon to make different cool patterns on the eggs. I like dying Easter eggs. It's something we do every year and it's fun. Later today we'll go to lunch and then Easter egg hunt.

During my spring break I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I want to finish the book I'm reading called The Fault In Our Stars. It's a really good book and I will probably do a review blog on it. I have also started to knit a little. Right now I'm working on finishing a scarf. I also want to watch some scary movies. I enjoy those kind of movies the most.

So that's what I am going to do over spring break and some things that I have already done and enjoyed.

Life Update

Life Update

Hi guys! Today I am going to write a life update. Basically how my life has been going for the past 6 months.

So in the past six months my life has been up and down. I'm taking French this year because I'm in honors so I can take a foreign language for a high school credit. Last nine weeks was pretty bad but I'm getting better this time around. Honestly I'm glad it's the last quarter because I really want summer to come and not have school.

Next is friends. I've got some pretty good friends. I've made a lot of new friends this year mostly because I didn't have any classes with them last year and the year before. We went on a field trip to D.C. and we had a great time there. We're going to go to Hershey's Park pretty soon and then we have a swimming trip.

Lastly I'm going to talk about people in general. My school has a lot of fights. There have been a few times when kids have gotten arrested. There is a lot of girl drama too. It seems like nobody is ever happy with any one else. Most of the fights that happen here are between girls.

So overall life is ok. I stick around my friends at school and they're fun to be with.

Cinderella

Cinderella

Hi guys! Today I am going to be talking about a movie I saw in theaters yesterday called Cinderella. SPOILER ALERT!

So in the beginning Ella had a perfect life. Her family was very happy and loved each other and nature. They were very kind people. Her dad was a merchant and he went on business trips selling things. One day all of that changed and Ella's mom died. She made a promise to her mother to have courage and be kind. Years later her father re-marries a woman who has two daughters. They were very mean to Ella. One day her father had to go on another trip and he asked all of his girls what they wanted him to bring back for them. The step-daughters said things like lace and expensive goods. Ella said she wanted the first branch that brushed his shoulder. On the business trip her father got very sick and he died. The branch was delivered to Ella and the step sisters got nothing.

While Ella cried over her loss, her step mother, to save money fired all of the assistants. She put Ella to work doing every possible chore she could do staying up until midnight. She said that it distracted her from the loss of her father. They let her eat table scraps for dinner which is the only meal she got. They made her sleep in the attic and since it was to cold she had to sleep in front of the embers. In the morning her face was covered in ashes so when she served breakfast, for everyone but herself, they called her Cinderella. She got so sad that she took a horse out riding in the woods. The prince was out in the woods hunting and they came across each other. He didn't tell her he was the prince he just told her his name. It was love at first sight.

The prince was supposed to get married. He wanted to marry Cinderella but she isn't a princess. He demanded that a ball would be held and everyone in town was invited. Cinderella's stepmother said that she couldn't go. Once they left for the ball Cinderella cried out in the garden she just wanted to see Kit (the prince). Her fairy god mother came and gave her a gorgeous dress and a carriage. She told her that the magic would wear of by midnight. She went to the ball and the prince said he wanted to marry her, a poor girl. After his father, the king, died he had a search party sent out for the girl. When they got to the stepmothers house the shoe fit nobody. They heard singing coming from where Cinderella was locked up in the attic. The prince demanded to see her and the shoe fit. They later got married and were the kindest rulers the kingdom ever had.

So I really loved this movie. It was done very well. The dress she wore to the ball in real life was extremely heavy but they made it look really light. Overall I loved it.

Summer

Summer

Hi guys today I am going to write about what I'm looking forward to in the summer. Personally I love the summer and I hate the winter for many different reasons.

So first I will tell you why I prefer summer to winter. First of all we don't have school in the summer. Maybe we have to write an essay or something but we have two and a half months to do it. We also get to hang out with our friends a lot more in the summer. In winter we only get lunch time and occasionally on weekends. I also hate the cold. I love summer because it's warm. I also love swimming which I can't do in the winter. We rarely go to an indoor pool. Lastly I love going to Ocean City New Jersey it is so much fun and I love the beach.

Now I will talk about little things I like about summer. I like that we can go on a walk outside and not freeze to death. One of my favorite things about summer is getting to play volleyball outside with my friends. I love volleyball and it's hard to find time and space to play in the winter. I also like the grass. I'm not sure why because I hate mowing it. I guess I just like being able to walk around in bare feet. There is also a creek nearby that my friend and I really love going to.

Last I will talk about bad things in summer. The number of good things highly outweighs the bad things. The thing I hate most about the summer is sun burns. They just really hurt and they're annoying. Another thing I hate is the Mosquitos. I hate when you get a bite and then it itches for days. The last thing I hate about summer is having to mow the lawn. I hate mowing it's really hot and then you get sweaty and just gross.

So that is my opinion on summer. I love summer and I want it to hurry up and get here. I will deal with the bad things in summer because there is so much more good things about it to me. What is your favorite season?

Future

Future

Hi guys lately I have been finding myself thinking about my future a lot. Not so much what I want to be but more what I want to do.

If I were to travel to two places in the world I would probably go to Paris and The Caribbean. I am currently taking a high school credit class in French. I really want to see the Eiffel Tower. I love being at the beach. I really want to live on a beach someplace warm year around. Somewhere like Florida or California. I would like to take a trip to The Caribbean though.

Next is my career. So my "dream job" would be a cosmetologist for movies and TV shows. My more realistic job would probably be a lawyer. Now I'm still thinking about what I want to be but I know that lawyers make a good amount of money and I think that I could do it. I'm also a little interested in photography.

I'm not quite sure where I am going to college. I'm thinking about going to West Virginia University. Another option for me would be for me to go to Shepard University. Those are both in state collages which is most likely what I will do. I was also interested in one called West Liberty. I'm definitely going to college but I will have to look more into where in high school.

So that is what I an thinking about right now but a lot can change before then.

Field Trip

Hi guys! So today I am going to tell you about my field trip to the Washington DC museums. My group went to three different museums but mostly just had fun. My mom was the chaperone and we had six kids (including me) in it. You get to pick your own group so everyone in it were friends of mine. We had my mom, me, Sarah, Julie, Nolan, Katelyn, and Kathleen.

So the bus ride there took about 2 hours. It was really fun just getting to sit and socialize with friends that I normally don't see outside of school. On the way up I sat next to my mom. First we went to the Holocaust museum. When we got there we took identification cards. Those cards each have a real person from the holocaust. It tells you their story. I had a girl named Elizabeth. Her parents were killed in the holocaust and she was supposed to be killed. Along with the other kids in a ghetto. The kids were driven into the woods to starve to death but a woman in a car going by heard crying and saved them. There was an entire room full of burned shoes from the holocaust. There were also thousands of last names of Jews killed. The museum was pretty depressing. We also got to light candles in a big room filled with them.

Then we walked to the National Museum. We were there mostly for lunch. I had chicken tenders, fries, and a cupcake. We talked during lunch for a while. Then we explored the gift shops there. We tried on a lot of funny hats. We had a great time. Then we looked at the aquarium inside the museum. We got to look through the nose of a whale skeleton. We also saw an extremely long giant squid. That was my favorite museum.

Next and last we went to the Indian museum. We looked around those gift shops for a while and also went to the very top of the building. We didn't have a lot of time in there though. The busses came pretty fast. It took again about two hours to get home. I slept for about a half an hour.

I had an amazing time on this trip and even though the holocaust museum was depressing I loved the people I was with.

Hi guys! So today I am going to write about a show that my family and I really like. This show is called Arrow and is about a superhero named green arrow. In the show they just call him The Arrow. I'm in season three. SPOILER ALERT!

So first I am going to write about the strong female characters. The first one is Sarah Lance, she is a but kicking assassin that ends up being murdered. They still don't know who killed her but they're looking. Next is Thea Queen. Thea is Oliver's (the arrows) sister. Nobody knows it but her dad. Third is Loral Lance, (Sarah's older sister) she starts to learn how to fight and she is a lawyer. Last is Felicity Smoke, she kicks but in a different way, she is really good at working computers. My favorite female character is Sarah but I also like Thea. Sarah is my favorite because she was also toured on the island too and she was trained in The League of Assassins.

This paragraph is about everyone that knows who the arrow is. First is John Diggle, he is Oliver's assistant. Next is Felicity Smoke, she is the Oliver's technology assistant. Oliver and Felicity like each other but decided that they can't be together. Third is Barry Allen, he helped Oliver when he was injured. Next is Amanda Waller. She runs a government agency. Then is Slade Wilson but he died. Next is Roy Harper another of his side kicks. Lastly is Sarah and Loral Lance who are close family friends.

Oliver became the arrow by being stranded on an island for five years. He spent the first year being tortured and now he is in Hong Kong on his second year. So far we haven't seen the rest. Oliver was on the island with two different torture groups witch he defeated. He was on the island with a girl named Shadow and Slade Wilson. Shadow was killed and Slade blamed Oliver and repeatedly tried to kill him and failed.

I really like this show, it's very cool and entertaining.

Book Review: Love? Maybe.

Book Review: Love? Maybe.

Hi guys so today I am going to be doing a book review on the book called "Love? Maybe". By Heather Helper. It's a really good book and the front is cute too. SPOILER!!

So this book is about a girl named Piper Paisley and she was born on Valentine's Day. She doesn't believe in love and thinks that you always get hurt with it. So Piper has two best friends named Jillian and Claire. Claire had a boyfriend named Stewart that cheated on her then dumped her. So Claire and Jillian make a plan so that they get boyfriends before Valentine's Day. They beg Piper to join them and she finally gives in.

They make a love potion and then give them to their crushes. Piper thinks that it is stupid and doesn't work. Piper started finding little gifts in her locker and thinks that it is from her crush Ben. Piper and Ben start going on a few dates and decide that they're not interested.

In the end of the book Jillian started dating one of her guy friends named Jeremy and Claire started dating her friend Alex. Piper found out that the guy that was leaving things in her locker was Charlie. Charlie had been Pipers best guy friend since they were little they are also next door neighbors.

So there is a lot more to this book but these are the main points. I think that this is a really good book and I recommend it.

Holes

Hi guys. so today I am going to be writting about a movie I have seen a few times called Holes. I think that this is a really good movie and is very fun and

entertaining. Spoiler alert!

So it starts out with Stanley Yelnats the fourth getting hit in the head with a pair of shoes. The cops think that he stole them and he brought Stanley home to tell

his parents.Thier house is filled with tons of smelly shoes. His father spent the last four years trying to make a product that could cure foot stink. Stanley goes to

court the next day and is forced to choose between jail or Camp Greenlake for 18 months. He chose Camp Greenlake.

When he gets there he meets the people he is going to camp out with. He has to dig a five foot deep hole every day. The shovel is how you measure. He is bullied by most of the people in his group until he stands up to a guy not in his group. The group nicknamed him caveman. Zero (a member of his group) starts digging half of his hole so that Stanlety will have time to teach him how to read.

Zero got tired of people calling him stupid and he ran away. Stanley ran after him. They walk until they make it to the top of a mountain where they find water and

onions to keep them alive out there in the dessert. They sneek back at night and they find a chest in one of the holes. They are stuck in a hole because poisonous lizards have jumped on them. The lizards didn't bite them because they ate the onions. Stanley and Zero got released by Stanley's lawyer. They split the treaser and lived happily ever after.

So this is a really good enjoyable movie. There is a lot more to it and I deffinetly recomend watching it.

School

School

Hi guys! So today I am going to be writing an update blog on what's going on at school right now. I will update you on both school work, people, and teachers. I'm not sure when the last time I did one of these blogs was but I know it has changed a lot since then.

Ok so first I will talk about teachers. My 1st teacher is English and she is a girl. I like her for the most part she is pretty nice. My second period is computer class. I really like this teacher because we do work for the first half of class and then we get to play computer games after. My third period is French. This teacher is ok. She also teaches Spanish so she likes to bust out into Spanish while she is teaching French but it's funny. My fourth period is math class. I like this teacher for the most part. I like the way she teaches and she helps us. Fifth period I have science. This teacher is probably my favorite. Then again science is my favorite because we don't just take notes the entire class we also do experiments. Sixth period is social studies. Social Studies has never been my favorite class but I really don't like this teacher. He just doesn't really teach us anything we just take notes of the board and he doesn't talk much. Notes are a huge part of school but he could at least explain it to us. Lastly for seventh period I have Home Economics In eighth grade we cook. So this is by far the most fun class of the day.

Now I will talk about work. I feel like compared to eight grade sixth and seventh are extremely easy. Then again we do go to high school next year so they have to prepare us. Anyway math and science are my best subjects. Then French and English. My worst subject is definitely Social Studies. I'm a half a point away from having a B in that class. I have a lot of french homework. We get homework almost every day in that class. I also spend time studying for tests and quizzes that we have almost daily in different classes.

Lastly I am going to be talking about friends. My three best friends names are Sarah, Julie, and Cira. Cira just moved back here early January. So eighth grade has been the best of my middle school years. It's the one with the least amount of drama. There still is a ton of drama though. There have been endless amounts of fights and drug selling at North. When I was in sixth grade there was a knife fight and the kid who pulled the knife for taken away in a police car. This year we have had a chain of drug selling within the eighth grade. We have also had some fights. None of these me or my friends were involved in.

So that has been school so far this year. It has been an ok year. Socially it has been pretty good. It's been ok otherwise. I'm going to miss most of these people if they don't go to the same high school as me some more than others.

The Resistance

The Resistance

Hi guys! So today I am going to talk to you about a board game called The Resistance. We played this game last night with some family friends and I absolutely loved it.

So first you pass out cards and you look at them but u can't show anyone else. If you play with six people there will be two spy's and 4 resistance. Then everyone closes their eyes and the two spy's open them and see who each other are. Then they close there eyes and all at once everyone opens their eyes. Next whoever the leader is gets to pick a team and the number of players aloud in the team is printed on the board. So for the first team you can take two people. So normally you take yourself and someone else but you don't have to be in it.

The group goes and you all vote to secede or fail the mission but you don't know who voted what. The spy's try and fail the mission and the resistance try's to succeed it. If you are resistance you have to vote succeed and if you're a spy you can vote either one. You only need one fail to loose the round. Witch ever side makes it to three wins first wins.

So this game is really fun. It is my new favorite game ever. It's really fun and great for parties. It is kind of like the game Werewolf if you have ever heard of it. I haven't played werewolf but my parents have and they say that it is similar.

So that's all about the resistance! It's a really good game.

Best Parts of 2014

Best Parts of 2014

Hi guys! So today I am going to write about my favorite parts of 2014.

So first I'll start of with going snow tubing. For my moms birthday we had an amazing time snow tubing at a place called White Tail. It was my first time going to any place like that. Next was going to a giant indoor water park for my little brothers birthday. Next is all of our camping trips. I really like camping I think that it's fun unless it gets to cold.

Next I enjoyed my birthday party. It was a really fun outdoor barbecue. My birthday barbecue is an annually kick off of summer. Then of course I enjoyed the summer! My favorite parts of summer are no school and swimming. My absolute favorite part of summer is going to Ocean City we have an amazing time every year!

Then I also really like all of the people I became friends with this school year. When my best friend moved away they took me in and I love them for that! Cira (my best friend) also can back late December. So next and lastly is Christmas time! The whole month of December is fun to me all of the decorations and the happy people and celebrating Jesus's birthday.

So I had a pretty good 2014 and those were the highlights of it!

Grammy's Christmas

Grammy's Christmas

Hi guys! So today I am going to talk about my second Christmas at my Grandma's house. I'm also going to talk about what I got in the mall while I was there with a gift card my aunt got me for Christmas.

So first we went to the mall and spent my gift card. It was for a clothing store I really liked called H&M. I got three shirts there, one was a black shirt that said bisou on it witch is a french word meaning like goodbye in a casual way witch I thought was appropriate since I am taking french at my school. Then I got another black shirt with pink roses all over it and cute crochet at the bottom. Lastly I got a heather grey shirt with a light pink heart on it and the word sweetie written crossed it in black cursive. Then I spent some leftover money I got for Christmas and bought a MAC Cosmetics lipstick in the shade velvet teddy. We also bought some gifts for the people we where going to see at the party.

Then when we got to my Grandma's house we talk for a little while and then opened presents from them. So first I got a Pandora charm for my bracelet. It's called Starry Nights and its inspired by the Starry Nights painting by Vincent Van Gogh. It is a really beautiful. It has blue cubic zirconia's in the back round and white ones shaped like stars in front. Then I got some MAC Makeup. I got paintery paint pot eyeshadow base, an eyeshadow quad by grandma custome made, and brush number 239 a flat shader brush. Then I got three lush bath bombs. I can't name them because the name wasn't on the packaging but they were the white ones. Lastly I got a pair of black UGG boots and they were the bailey button style.

Then my Aunt (Jessica), Uncle (Jonathan), Cousin (Brittany), and my cousins baby (Ramsey) came. My cousins husband (Jason) had to work. So when they came we talked some more and then ate dinner. We had a great dinner and then opened present from and to the newly arrived relatives. I got a pink Aeropostale vest, pink boot socks, and a cute tote bag. After that we talked some more and then left.

I had a great time with my family! This was the first time that I got to see Ramsey and he is the cutes, sweetest baby ever!
