High School

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk to you about my high school experience so far. My school is only three years old so it's really nice and very big.

First of all, most of my teachers said don't worry you will have barely any homework in this class at orientation. DON'T BELIEVE THEM! So far we do get a pretty good amount of homework but most of the time you get to start it in class. I also like to do some at lunch so I have less to do when I get home. The teachers are better at not giving homework on the weekend though. The reason I like to finish all or most of my work at school is because sometimes I get home really late after volleyball practice or games.

My teachers are okay. The only one who's not amazing is my math teacher. She's not terrible but she is a little mean and doesn't explain what she's doing to well. My science teacher seems like she would be pretty nice if she wasn't due to have a baby in December. All of my other teachers are really nice so far and their classes are pretty hard but good.

So far I like most of the people I've met from different middle schools. I had most of my classes with at least someone I knew from my middle school except for first period. My first period is filled with mostly seniors, I'm the only freshman. I've made some pretty good friends from both having classes with them, and being on the volleyball team.

So far high school has been pretty good. I'm liking it a lot so far!

Camping With Helena

Camping With Helena

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about the camping trip I went on this weekend. Last week one of my friends invited my little brother and I to go camping with her family.

Helena is two years younger than me and her little brother, Nathan, is one year older then my little brother. So we got to the camp on Friday about two hours after school ended. We got there and set up our things. Then we rode our bikes around a little. When we got back we ate turkey burgers for dinner. Next we went to the mini golf course we have there and Helena won. After that we made s'mores. Then we went to bed and it was freezing.

The next day when we woke up it was raining. We had a tent set up outside so we didn't have to stay in the camper. We ate breakfast and decided to play some games. The fist game we played was spoons. Alex lost the first time and the second time we didn't finish. Then we played Life and Helena won. After that we played King of Tokyo and I'm not sure who won but I know it wasn't me. Later that day when it stopped raining we went to a heated pool they had on the campsite. We didn't get to play lazier tag or zip line because of the rain.

Then on Sunday, today, we didn't do to much. Helena had a soccer game at 11:15 so we left at 10:30. Her soccer game lasted for about three hours. They won the game and we were playing black jacks with a set of cards.

It was a pretty fun weekend but I wish it didn't rain.

Cabana Party

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about a small party we had last nigh to celebrate my mom finishing the cabana we have in our back yard.

So we had a party last night with a few family friends. My parents invited some of their friends and I invited two of mine. My friends got there pretty early so we hung out for a while. I invited Sarah and Emily. We played some volleyball in the back yard while some of our other guests arrived. When almost everyone got there we started to eat. We had a mix of hot dogs, hamburgers, fruits, vegetables, and things like that.

For desert I had an amazing icing covered brownie. After we ate another family got here. Their daughter, Helana, hung out with me and my friends for a while. We played more volleyball white the adults made a campfire and sat around it.

We talked for a while and then Sarah and Emily had to leave. Helana and I talked about going camping together and played more volleyball. Soon everyone started to leave and we cleaned up. One of my parents's friends stayed and played a card game with them while I went to bed.

It was a really fun night and I was super tired by the time it ended.
