My Friday

Hi guys! Today I am going to tell you about my eventful Friday.

So the first part of my Friday was a pep rally. After lunch, most of us (not including me) went to the stadium. All of the sports teams (including me for volleyball) went onto the field. They called us up to the microphones to introduce each team. Then we went into the bleachers in a separate section for the sports teams. I soon separated from my team and walked over to my other friends. It was Sarah's first day back to school since she got back from Japan and it was the first time I had seen her all day.

After the pep rally I went home for about an hour and a half and then went back to school for volleyball practice. We did our usual warm ups and then practiced six on six for a little while. If you get five serves over and the other team doesn't return them then it's called an ace. I got an ace and every time we get an ace in our practice our coach gets mad that the other team didn't return the ball so she makes us run for the last half hour.

After practice I went to the football game. I was there with some of my friends from volleyball and some other friends. Sarah, Ava, and I hung out and talked for a while and then we got some slushies. After that I bought a shirt supporting my school. Then I just sat in the bleachers talking to a few people before I had to leave. It was only third quarter when I left but my friend told me we won and the team we were facing had no points.

So that was my Friday. It was really fun but also very tiring.

First Week of School 2015-16

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about my first week of high school.

My high school is pretty huge so I had to us a map to find my classes the first three days until I got the hang of it. My fist class of the day, computer programming, is pretty fun so far. We haven't done to much but we got to make power points about ourselves. My next class is health, it's probably my favorite class. We do activities like fitness Friday and movement Monday, but my teacher is very nice. My next class is honors science. So far it has been extremely boring. My fourth period is social studies. So far I really like it and the teacher is fun too. For fifth period I have honors English. I also really like my English teacher. She is very fun and creative. My sixth period is honors math. My teacher seems okay but kind of boring. For my last period I have French 2. I took French last year so I only need one more credit. This class seems pretty good.

My first day of school was a little confusing and boring. It was hard to find my classes and they were mostly very boring. Lunch was pretty good, I have it with most of my friends and its a much longer lunch which is nice. At the end of the school day I had volleyball tryouts.

We ran through our basic volleyball exercises and the coaches went into the locker room to talk about who made the team the called the people who didn't make it out separately and then told the rest of us that we did and gave us our jerseys and spandex. We had practice everyday this past week and next week so I was supper exhausted towards Thursday and Friday.

Overall my week went okay but definitely could have gone much better.

My High School Orientation

My High School Orientation

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about things that happened during my high school orientation. Tomorrow (Monday) will be my first day of my freshman year.

So the first thing that happened when we got there was them giving us a new schedule. Next we just went to the gym and waited until a good amount of people showed up.then the principal and a few other staff members talked for a while about what they wanted from us, how to behave, and the school rules/dress code. When that was over the more interesting part of the orientation started.

We were given a map of the school and we all went to our first class. Mine was computer programming. The teacher introduces themselves and then tells you the supplies you need and what you will be doing in the class. My second class is health. The nest class I have is physical science honors. For fourth period I have work history. Next I have have english honors. My sixth period is math honors. Lastly I have french two.

I'm not that nervous for my fist day of high school, I'm actually more excited. Everyone plays it up that if you're a freshman you're going to be picked on by upper class-men. The truth is a few of them might do that but most of them are really nice. The thing that I'm most nervous about is my volleyball tryouts. I'm trying out right after school. My friend Shelby and I have been on the recreation center team for the past few years so now we're going to tryout together.

So that was my high school orientation and a little bit about how I think my first day will go.

Here I Go Again Book Review

Here I Go Again Book Review

Hi guys! Today I'm writing about one of the books I just finished. The book is called Here I Go Again by Jen Lancaster.

So this starts out with a very spoiled girl having the perfect life. She married her high school sweetheart who's rich. Ten years later he divorces her because she's mean and doesn't have a job. So she gets a potion and time travels to when she was in high school and gets nicer. In the future she is pretty nice and this time she is the one that is rich.

Her husband still divorces her because he's bored and wants a job and her father dies in a car accident because he was fighting with her mother. So again she time travels but this time she finds her true love and when she goes back to the future she is married to him with three kids and she makes her parents be nicer to each other.

I think that this is a really good book. I finished it really fast because I was so into reading it. It's a really good book in my opinion and I wish I could keep it but it's a library book. I will definitely look into more books by Jen Lancaster. I would give this book an eight out of ten.

So that is my book review on Here I Go Again by Jen Lancaster.

Books 2015

Books 2015

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about some of my favorite books for 2015 and also some books that I want to read. (No spoilers, just brief summaries.)

So by far my favorite author is John Green. I have five of his books. One of them I have digitally on my iPad and it's called Paper Towns. The other four I have in paperback form, they are called Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherine's, The Fault in Our Stars, and Let It Snow. The first one that I read was The Fault in Our Stars. This book is what got me hooked on books by John Green. This book is about two teenagers with cancer that fall in love.

The next one is called Paper Towns its a really good book about a girl and a boy that grew up as neighbors and he has always liked her, but one day she runs away and he starts looking for her.
The other three books I have by him I haven't read yet because I'm in the middle of a really good book that I'm really close to finishing. It's called Here I Go Again by Jen Lancaster. It's a really good book about a girl who makes a lot of mistakes so she time travels to try and fix them but causes time ripples.

I also have another book to read called Stirring The Pot by Jenny McCarthy. Two of my favorite books to read are Love? Maybe. by Heather Helper and Bliss by Kathryn Littlewood. I have re-read Love? Maybe. at least five times. Now I want to talk about Let It Snow by John Green. I haven't read it yet but it has three different stories in it and only one of them is by John Green. The other authors are Maureen Johnson and Lauren Muracle. This is a holiday book that I look forward to reading in December.

That was my Books 2015 blog! I hope you liked it and I hope you read something from it!
