Pompeii

Pompeii

Hi guys! Today I am going to write about a movie I saw Friday night. The movie is called Pompeii and it is pretty interesting. The actual story probably didn't happen but, the volcano, Pompeii, did explode and kill many people covering them in stone.

So in the beginning of the movie Milo(the main character played by Kit Harrington) watched his family get killed my the Romans. He was taken to become a savage. He fought in many different arenas and never lost. One day he was taken to Pompeii. He was to fight a gladiator in their arena. Officials from Rome were there to watch and possibly give Pompeii money to help make their town better.

The princess of Pompeii fell in love with him and they tried to run away but got caught. Milo got 15 lashes for that. The next day was the fight. The Roman official wanted to marry the princess but she didn't like him. He threatened to kill her family so she agreed. She still loved Milo. The fight was all of the fighter chained to a pole with a sword and shield while the Pompeii army came out and fought them. All of the savages died except for Milo and the gladiator. They took out the entire army. The Roman leader got mad and sent his troops into the arena to kill them but that's when the earthquake happened. It was a sign of the volcano about to blow, but nobody knew it.

Houses and building started tumbling and everyone started getting on boats to leave. The boats that got in the water were destroyed by a tsunami. The Roman guy had locked the princess in a building so Milo went back for her. They headed towards the mountains knowing that the sea wasn't safe. They encountered the Roman who fought Milo for the princess. Milo won by chaining him to wood and letting the volcano do the rest. They got a bourse and the bourse went as far as in could but couldn't take both of them. Milo wanted her to go but she made the house run and stayed with him. The lava hit them when they were kissing and they were encased in stone like that.

So this is a really good movie. I liked it and it was interesting. The story of Pompeii (the real one) is very sad but still quite interesting and cool.
