House on Haunted Hill

Hi! Today I will tell you about a movie called House on Haunted Hill.



There was this guy that threw a party at a haunted mansion. He invited five people and said that if they could stay a night in the mansion without dying then he would give them each 10,000 dollars.



I think that the scariest part was when one of the guest turned around an there was a blind creepy house keeper. Alex screamed when that happened. There was a couple times during this movie that I was about to scream. This lady that the girl is screaming at was floating in the movie but she is the care taker. That was weird.



I am confused about the ending though. All of them survived but 2. All the creepy mysteries did not have an explanation. It was confusing and scary at the same time. It kind of reminds me of the movie Clue. One of the I solved mysteries was when the blood dripped from the ceiling on to her hands. Another one is when one of the girls got scared and ran she went behind a curtain and their was a hand trying to grab her.

This movie was made in1959. It stares Vincent Price, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Alan Marshal, and Elisha Cook Jr. It is a black and white movie. Vincent Price was also in The Last Man on Earth and Edward Scissor Hands. There was a skeleton in the movie and on IMDB it said that the actor that played the skeleton was the skeleton.

It was a pretty good movie. There were times when I wanted to talk to the person and tell them not to do that and there were times when I was all tense and on the edge of my seat.

Halloween

Hi! Today I will tell you about Halloween.



On Thursday we went to the Martinsburg Mall to Trick-or-Treat. Not many stores were giving out candy. The ones that did give out candy were mostly tootsie rolls or lolly pops. The two best candies I got were one Baby Ruth and an fun size chocolate bar.

I look like her right?




I think that the fun size chocolate bars should be the bigger size. The smaller size is not fun. Isn't bigger better? I also got some Skittles and those were ok, but seriously? If it storms on Halloween night I am going to be so sad. I wanted to hand out candy with dad this year.


Alex likes carving pumpkins. He said it is the best part of Halloween. I think the best part of Halloween is the costumes. Ashton says it is candy. Moms favorite part is Trick-or-Treating with us kids. Dads favorite part is scary movies.



I don't think there are any bad parts of Halloween.(Ashton's costume is Justin Beiber.)

The New Fire Pit

Hi! Today I will tell you about the new fire pit that my parents got for there anniversary.

About a week ago my parents bought a fire pit for there anniversary. On Friday we roasted weenie's. I think I like hot dogs over the fire more than in the toaster. After we had hot dogs we made s'mores. First we roasted the marshy mellows. Then we we put a chocolate bar on the cracker and smushed the mellow with another gram cracker.

After we ate on Friday we told the stories of Bloody Mary and the Goat Man. Saturday nite we had ribs, potatoes, and asparagus. Asparagus is one of my favorite veggies. Again I think it is better on the fire pit. At night we like to tell stories so here are a couple that we have told.

Now I will tell you the stories of Bloody Mary and the Goat Man. One day there was this beautiful girl that got into an accident. She was so ugly her parents thought she would go insane if she ever saw her self so they took away all the mirrors but one locked in there bathroom. One day at night they forgot to lock the bathroom and she went in. When she saw her reflection she screamed and just dropped to the floor and they say that if you go in a bathroom at night and you say Bloody Mary three times that she will come out of the mirror and kill you.

Now I will tell you about the goat man story. There was once a couple driving along the road and they ran out of gas. The guy said lock the doors and stay inside I am going to go get help. So it had been a really long time when she started to hear a sound like a branch siding on the top of her car roof. She tried to convince herself that was all it was. Soon she fell asleep but then this loud knock on the door woke her up. It was a guy saying that he was a police man so she opened the door and it was daylight outside. The cop said come with me mam and don't look back. She could not help herself so she looked back. Her boyfriend was hanging from a tree his fingers were sliding across the roof and his blood had covered all the windows.

I love the new fire pit it is awesome.

Sarah Linhart's House #2

Hi! Today I will tell you about me going to my friend Sarah's house.

On Friday when I got home from school my mom and Alex drove me to Ruby Tuesdays were I met Sarah for a two day sleep over. After we ate dinner I went to Sarah's house and my mommy went home. While we were just about to get there we went to a clothes store to get Sarah a swimsuit. Then we went to her house and went to bed.

The next morning we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. After that we went to a salon to get Sarah's eyebrows waxed. After that we went to a farm. First we did the corn maze. Then we laid in a giant pile of corn. After that we did a tractor ride, looked at animals, and hiked. Then we went back to Sarah's house.

When we got there she went to a party and I went shopping at Michel's and Target.
When we were there I got a new scrapbook, paper, notebooks, and a scrapbook caddie. Then we picked up Sarah and went to her house. After that we went to bed. In the morning I had sausage and pancakes for breakfast. Then I met mommy at Ruby Tuesdays and she picked me up and we went home.

I had a great time at Sarah's house.

One Direction Blog # 2

Hi! Today I will tell you more about One Direction.

A couple days ago my Dad ordered me One Direction guitar picks. When he ordered the guitar picks he ordered them from Amazon. The problem was amazon sent the One Direction guitar picks to Aunt Robyn's house and my Dad's name is the same as Grandaddy's name so she wondered why Grandaddy sent her One Direction guitar picks.

She called Grandaddy and he didn't even know what One Direction was. Then she realized that I love One Direction and I play the guitar so she mailed them to Dad.
Now I am going to show you what me and my friend Sarah want for Christmas.



Don't you love our Christmas list? Sarah sent me an email that said can you imagine this by the Christmas tree on Christmas morning?


I replied and said if there were two sets of them that would we great.

Camping

Hi! Today I will tell you about my camping trip to Rocky Gap.



I went to a camp park called Rocky Gap. It took about a hour to get there but it was worth it. When we first got there and we were all unpacked mom started a fire. Mom is the camping master. Later that day we roasted wieners on sticks for dinner. After dinner we roasted marshmallows and made s'mores.



When we went to bed it was freezing cold. The next morning we had pancakes and bacon. After that we drove around for a while and walked a hiking trail. Before that we went to the camp store and nature center. After the hike we went back to the camp site and relaxed before dinner.



When dinner came we grilled hamburgers and had more s'mores. Then we told scary stories. Then it was the last day of our camping trip. We went and looked at the Aviary. After that we headed home but before we got there we went to a really good Chinese restaurant.



I had an awesome camping trip!
