What I Got For Christmas

Hi guys so today I am doing a what I got for Christmas blog post! I love it all and I'm so thankful!

So on Christmas morning we all went to our sunroom and saw our piles. My two brothers and I each get our own wrapping paper. Mine this year was purple metallic wrapping paper with purple Santa sleighs. Immediately we got our stockings and tore away. The first thing I got was a penguin mug with hot chocolate mix in it. Then sticking out of my stocking, was a purple luffa on a cheetah print stick. Then I got a lucky little owl charm. The rest of my my stocking was, a face lotion, various candy, a lip balm, and some iTunes money. Then I opened my presents. First I got a little body kit that has a shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, bath salts, a massage soap bar, and a nail cleaner. Then I got an abominable snowman oven mitt with sugary cookie mix and a cookie cutter. After that I got some really pretty leggings and leg warmers. I also opened an owl puzzle and shirt. (If you couldn't tell I love owls!) Then, I got some shoes. The first pair are brown and white lace boots. Then I got black combat boots with gold buckles. After that I got a pair of brown moccasins and my mom also ordered me black ones. Then I got some black and nude ballet flats with a black bow on the back. Last I got a pair of coral colored oxfords. I'm going to exchange them though I picked them out online and didn't like them in person. Then I asked to go shopping. I got 100 dollars to go shopping with my mom. I spent about 70 dollars today. I have 30 left but with the shoe exchange I have 50. So today when I went shopping, first I went to L.L. Bean. I picked out a pair of perry winkle and white flower ballet flats. Then I went to Forever 21. I got two iPhone jewelry things that you put into your head phone jack. One is a gold cross and the other is a black flower. Then I got two pairs of skinny jeans, a dark wash pair and a medium wash pair. Then I got an orange colored cami. The last thing I got at Forever 21 was a cream covered over sized sweater with neon pink lip prints.









Then I got Christmas number two from my grandparents on my moms side. First I got three sweaters. The first was hot pink with navy blue stripes and a zipper on the shoulder. The second one was black and white striped. Then the last one was green and the ends of the sleeves had navy stripes and the shoulder had three gold buttons. Then I got a camel colored pea coat, witch I really wanted! Nest I got a pair of red L.L. Bean pajamas with snowflakes on them. After that I got a pair of flannel sheets with little cute dogs on them. Next I got two pairs of Forever 21 socks. The first pair was black and gold stripes and the second pair was black with gold studs on them. Then I got a four pack of Lancôme lip glosses. Next I got a new charm for my charm bracelet. It had a little silver dog on it. Next I got a Lancôme makeup bag. They filed the bag with two Forever 21 nail polishes and three perfume samples. Then I got a long black robe for over my pajamas. Next I got an owl puzzle, it is a gorgeous owl. Then I got three white feathery owls a big mama and two baby's. I also got three ten dollar iTunes gift cards. Last, and most exciting, I got the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume set. It comes with the perfume, the rollerball, a shower gel, and a body lotion. It is my first high end perfume. It smells so good!






Then my Aunt Robyn and her family gave me hair feathers and hair colors. My older brother got my a new iPod case, and my little brother got me candy and a necklace. My other grandparents gave me some money. Then Sarah, my best friend, gave me a nail polish, a body spray, a bracelet and hot chocolate mix. Lastly my Aunt Jessica and Uncle Jonathan. First they got me a chocolate brown colored pea coat! Then they got me a black and white stripped infinity scarf. Then they gave me a plaid shaw. Then they got my a sleeping patch and a makeup bag.






I love everything I got this Christmas! I'm super thankful for my friends and family.

New Room

New Room

Today I am going to update you guys on my new room.

So recently my grandparents came up. They brought me a brown bed frame. My room theme is black and white so in the summer we are going to take it outside and stay paint it black. Then we went to Sleepy's to pick out a matrices. I love the matrices I got, thank you guys so much!!! The first half of it is memory foam so it's super squishy! They also got me, for last Christmas, bed appliances. I got a big black fluffy bed spread with zebra pillows and blanket. The matrices was a late birthday present.

My bad looks amazing. We just assembled it yesterday. The bed frame is old fashioned, so my bed is high up off he ground, I like it. Anyway then we did the closet. My mom got me a shoe rack. So I put all my shoes on it and put the rack in my closet. Then we had a three drawer container that hold pajama's and everything that can not be hanged. My mom got me all black hangers.

I've transferred most of my clothes. Then my mom put a white bookcase in my room. I put something's on it. I have pictures and nail polish and perfume, things like that. I also put my zebra bean bag chair in there. That's pretty much it so far.

I'm still in the process of moving my things but I'm getting there!

Christmas Decorations

Christmas Decorations

Hi everyone! Today I am going to talk about my families Christmas decorations.



We have a ton of Christmas decorations from ornaments to a Santa train. We have four plastic bins full of ornaments. We only put about half of them up because there is no room. Most of them are all ones from grandparents. We usually get Hallmark and Lenox ones from them. They are both so gorgeous! This year I got a Hallmark bell angel and a Lenox bird and mitten. They are all super cute! The other ornaments are pretty much just super hero ones that are my dads.









We also have a ton of Christmas stuffed animals. We also have an advent calendar. An advent calendar is a tinny house with 24 doors on it. They open up and give something. It could be like a picture or candy. Ours is candy. Almost everything else is like a little snowman or something.



Last, we have a Christmas village. It's the department 56 Scrooge village. We have a lot of pieces. My favorite is the Church. We have four buildings and 13 accessories. We have seven tree's. We also have the three ghosts. There are a couple of other pieces too.















I love Christmas and all the fun decorations.

Family Reunion

Family Reunion

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about my family reunion.

The family was on my moms side. My grandparents were there and a lot of my great aunts and uncles. One of my uncles came but my other one and his wife couldn't make it. Neither could their daughter, my cousin. Anyway when we got their we hung out for a while. There was a Christmas tree that spit out snow from the top into a huge bowl. The bowl took it back to the top of the tree.



There is a huge gym in the basement. There is also a game room with pool and foosball. All the basket balls were flat. We mostly played frisbee with the frisbee's that gramps got us. We had some snacks and punch. We just hung out and talked for a while more. Then they announced dinner. We all sat down at a big long table. We said grace and ate dinner.

There was a metric ton of food! Turkey, mash potatoes, everything! Then we all sat down in groups and played a little more and talked. Then my grandparents brought presents for Ashton, Alex, and I. Alex got three ornaments, a sleigh, a fire truck, and a mitten. I also got a mitten, and a dove. Ashton just got a sleigh. Then we got pieces to our Christmas village. We got three new trees. Then we got a church. We got a beer wagon and the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. Then we had to leave.

I had a great time this year and it was super fun! I didn't want to leave!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

Hello every one! Today I am going to be talking about my Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving!

For my Thanksgiving we went to my Grandparent's house. We got there at about eleven o'clock. We hung out for a while and watched the Macy's Day Parade. Then we ate lunch. We had some really good sandwiches that Grammy makes. Then my Mom and Grammy started cooking for dinner. I had to work on my science fair report for a while. It was an extremely boring thing to do on Thanksgiving day. I don't like the science fair! Anyway that took me about an hour. My dad napped for a while when I was working on my science fair.

Gramps and I walked Daisy for a while. Daisy is their dog. She is so cute! I have never walked a dog before. It was really fun. We just talked for a while. We only did I think two blocks. It was too short! If only you could walk a cat, I have two of them. When we got back, Grammy gave us some old family Christmas decorations. There was a big Santa music box, a Santa candle, a tiny wood sled that says welcome friends, and a plastic home. They also gave us a real old sled.

Then we had the feast. There was turkey, mashed potatoes, pickles, beats, cranberry sauce, gravy, vegetables, stuffing, and probably more! We just laughed, talked, and ate the whole time. Then we went into the living room and played a card game. I won the game! Then we went to the kitchen for desert. We had ice cream and cupcakes. I had made the cup cakes the day before.

I had a great Thanksgiving with my grandparents! I hope you guys had a happy Thanksgiving too!

The Conjuring

The Conjuring

Hi everybody, today I am going to write about a movie I recently saw called The Conjuring. I saw it on Friday night. Spoiler Alert!

The Conjuring is about a family of five daughters, and their mother and father. They move into a house in the country. At first everything is great. Except for their dog won't come in. They decide to leave it out for the night and they go to bed. the next morning when they woke up, the mother had a huge dark bruise on her leg. Then when she comes down stairs all the clocks in the house had stopped at 3:07. Her youngest daughter, April, went outside to look for the dog. She found the dog dead on the ground next to her house. The night before they found a room under the stair case. It had a bunch of dusty junk in it. Every time the wife woke up a nap or in the morning, she had another bruise. Birds kept flying against their house and breaking their necks.

Most of it happened in the night. One of the daughters had her leg pulled down a bunch of times. She saw a person, shadow, or thing behind her door. The second youngest daughter kept going into the oldest daughters room and sleep walking into the closet. The first night she just had her father come and get her. Then it happened again the next night. So she just put her sister in bed with her and she was about to get in when, the banging had started again, but her sister was still in bed with her. There was nobody even close to the closet. The girl turned to see her little sister and looked back. When she looked back she saw a dirty, decaying girl on top looking at her. She screamed and it went away.

This isn't even half of the movie. It scared me to death. We watched tailors after it. We always watch something after a scary movie so we don't have to go to bed scared. The movie freaked me out. I loved that movie! I was scared after it. Then my dad pointed out that the house was to new for anyone to have died in it. (The ghosts were from people that died there before.)

I went to bed a little freaked out. The fact that nobody died in this house before was comforting though. I never really have a hard time sleeping after scary movies. I really liked The Conjuring!

Recipes

Hello everybody! Today I am going to tell you about my moms recipe book.

It's always been the big blue binder. If someone told me to go get the big blue binder, i'd probably know what they were talking about. The big blue binder has online copies, and family recipes. I made a huge thing of mac and cheese today from a recipe out of the big blue binder. I really like cooking, especially deserts. I have recently started to copy some of the recipes into a note book of mine. The big blue binder is sorted into more of less four sections. Main Dishes, (which also includes sides, and sauces) breakfast, deserts, and bread. There is also a folder in the front which holds random recipes. Then in the very back are recipes from Grammy and Grandmama.

I like the family recipes better because they are more unique. Like Grammy's oatmeal cookies and Grandmama's cheesy bacon ball. My favorite cook book right now is the kid approved cookbook. The recipes are all family tested. There are 328 recipes. Mom got it for us a while ago and we only made one thing out of it. I recently rediscovered it about a week ago. I want to cook more often but we are busy a lot of week nights and are weekends are filled with chores because we're redoing our bedrooms.

I have been doing some more cooking recently though. I made chicken and salad last night. When my Aunt came over I made pancakes and recently I made some bacon. I am going to help a ton with Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts. I will make cupcakes for Thanksgiving and I want to make pie. A little while ago I made chocolate chip cheesecake. The dinner that I made from the cookbook a while ago was cheddar cheese and bacon meat loaf with apples and caramel sauce.

I really like cooking! I really want to make a smoothie because it looks fun and I like smoothies, but we don't have the right things.

Wellness Center

Wellness Center

Hello! Today I am going to write about the gym I work out at called the Wellness Center. I have a customized workout there.

I like working out there because it helps me stay active. I can also change my workout, witch can be helpful. I also like that we go at least twice a week. You can also get your workout changed and try new things if you get board with what you have. It doesn't burn to much for me because I have a shorter workout. It's enough to stay at my normal weight.

I use three cardio machines. First, is the stationary bike. It's just a bike that is held in one place while your on it. Next, I do the treadmill. Most people know what that is, you run on it. Last is the elliptical. The elliptical makes you move your feet in circular motions. I do stationary bike for 10 to 20 minutes, the treadmill for 10 and the elliptical for 10 also.

I have a lot of different weight machines. I first have one where you push with your legs against the wall and push yourself backwards. Then two machine where one one you push your legs apart and one where you push them together. There are a lot of different ones. I probably burn 130 to 150 calories in weights and the same with cardio.

Nobody thinks it's fun going to the gym, but I go anyway. It's important to my dad that we all go.

New Rooms

Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about new rooms.

My parents recently moved upstairs in a new bedroom. My brother Ashton got their bedroom. My brothers used to share a room. I'm moving into the room they shared. My little brother is getting the room I have now. We already moved Ashton into his room. We had to paint, and take out the carpet, then redo the boarding. Then my mom put hard wood flooring down. He got his bed from our Aunt Melodee and Grammy and Gramps bought the bed spread and sheets and things.

Yesterday my mom and I started on my new room. We moved Alex's bed and desk and things into the living room. We took out the carpet and foam. Today we took out the boarding and tack boards. We screwed the floor down. I like building and destroying things. So Alex now sleeps in the living room. Soon we will pick out a color for my walls I was thinking lavender or baby pink, what do you think?

So once I move into the room we're working on now Alex will get my room. We are doing the exact same thing to the room I have now. When I move into the new room it will be bigger and have a bigger closet. I'm supper excited!!!!

I really want to move into my new room! So what do you guys think, lavender or baby pink?

Halloween Decorations

Halloween Decorations

Hello everybody today I am going to blog about my families Halloween Decorations of 2013.

Halloween is my fathers favorite holiday. I guess he just likes the scariness and movies. We decorate every year for Halloween. We have a good bit of decorations. We have a small Halloween city with Frankenstein and Dracula. We have Dr. Frankensteins laboratory. We have spooky candles hanging out everywhere. A small rubber skeleton hangs from the door. We used to have ghosts hanging from our tree but we didn't put them up this year.


















None of our window clings would stick so we had to get new ones. We went to Walgreens. And bought four sets. We had one set that survived from last year. We also had a gel window cling of Linus in the pumpkin patch. Then we bought a set of Scooby Doo window clings. Scooby is running through a grave yard. We also got ghosts coming out of a mansion. Then there is the green skeleton of course. We got a Charlie Brown going trick or treating set. The set that barely survived last year was another Scooby Doo set.





















We also have a set of glass ghosts. Two of the larger ghosts can hold candles. Then we have four smaller ghosts. We have ceramic pumpkins and real pumpkins we are going to carve later today. We have tons and tons of stuffed animals. From a stuffed Jack Skeleton to a bear dressed as a ghost. We have a moving small Dracula. We have a lot of fun cool Halloween decorations.

Final Destination

Final Destination

Hello everybody today I am going to do another movie review on Final Destination . It is a great horror movie. (Spoiler alert.)

Final Destination is about six teenagers and one adult. Two of the teenagers and the adult are girls. The rest were boys. One of the boys had a dream on the plane they were going to take to Paris. The plane hadn't taken of yet. The woke up from the dream screaming to get of the plane the five teenagers and two adults got of with him. One of the adults got back on to watch the kids. The boy said he had a dream that the plane would explode. The plane took of without them. About a minute after it took of the plane exploded just like it did in his dream.

It was a class field trip to Paris and the two adults were teachers. Anyway the six people tried to live their life normally. Later the next one if the boys slipped in water. He fell into a clothesline and it got wrapped around his neck. It finally strangled him to death. The next death was one of the teenage girls. She was crossing the street when a bus that was going way to fast ran into her a killed her. They didn't know what to do. They had escaped deaths plan once and now he was making a new one to escape. Next it was the teachers turn. Her death was gruesome. A peace of glass got stuck in her neck and a knife fell into her stomach.

Then the rest of the teenagers were going to a cabin in the woods to try and avoid death. On their way there they stopped as a train passed and one of them had his back to the train. He was backing up. A chain was loose on the train and it took the top half of his head of. The three teenagers survived for six months. They got back on another plane and flew to Paris. Six months without an accident. Then a sign fell and was about to hit a guy when the movie ended.

I can't wait to see the next one. I really liked it. It was super scary though.

The Croods

The Croods

Spoiler alert!!! Hello everybody today I am going to talk to you guys about a movie I saw on Friday called The Croods.

The Croods is a movie about a cave man family. It was when the earth's continents where still together. The family stayed in the cave most of the time. The only time they would come out is when they were looking for food. That only happened once a week. So that meant they only ate once a week. Grog was the father, I'm not sure what the wife's name was, Ebe was the eldest daughter, Thunk was the son, and I'm not sure what the baby girls name was.

The family found out that the world was separating and started heading for the mountains with a guy they met named Guy. Guy helped them make it to the mountain. Grog didn't like Guy because his daughter liked him. So when they got to the mountain they needed to get to the other side of the mountain because it had cracked in half. So Grog threw everybody to the other side but he couldn't get himself over. Ebe called for him for a while. Grog heard her and flew over with a huge cat, bones, and birds. A lot of birds.

He got onto the other side. By then the Earth had finished separating and they were on a beach. They had a happily ever after. The cat/lion thing became their friend as long as another cat/lion thing. They lived on the beach for the rest of their lives. Guy and Ebe baca me a couple. Greg was uneasy about it at first.

I thought this was a really good movie. It was super funny also. Thunk also made a friend. It was a dog/paranoia thing.

The Hobbit

The Hobbit

Hello everyone. Today I'm going to write about the movie I saw yesterday, The Hobbit. Spoiler alert.

I really liked The Hobbit, except the fact that it is about a three hour movie. We started the movie at eight pm so we went to bed at eleven pm. We did this for Ashton's birthday. The Hobbit was about twelve dwarfs, one wizard, and one hobbit. The dwarfs once ruled the land. Until their kingdom fell and there was little survivors. Two generations later the twelve dwarfs and one wizard decided to get their kingdom back.

So they all went to the hobbits house. They had a huge party for a while then they got down to business. They asked the hobbit to join them but he refused. The next morning the hobbit woke up and decided he did want to go with them. So he signed a paper and ran to catch up with them. Once he did they got him a pony to ride with them they traveled for a while.

In their travels they ran into various monsters and trouble. They were in a rock storm and a pack of orks attacked them. I liked the adventures. I think it was a great movie. There was a scene with Gulum and the ring. The hobbit found the ring that made him invisible and escaped. Gulum was super creepy.

I really liked this movie and the storie behind it was amazing. Some of the scenes in the movie were gorgeous.

Tournaments

Tournaments

Hello everybody. Today I am going to tell you guys about my volleyball tournament of 2013.

So I play volleyball at the rec. center on the team called Teal Tornadoz. There are 8 teams total. Teal, red, blue, green, orange, gray, white, and gold. We have practice twice a week and games on Saturday. We have played every team in the league. Yesterday was the tournaments. We played red twice. We lost both games;(. So we were out for the rest of the tournament.

We just practiced and watched the other girls play. The championships were white and gold. We watched the game and most of us cheered for white but gold won. Our team was just added this year. So nobody from our team has ever played before. All the other teams had returning players. Coach Ernie said he was proud of us for trying. Then after the championships was the all stars game. I call that game the skittles because they take two people from each team and they make two separate teams against each other.

So after the skittles finished we went to the mason gym. All the teams had pizza there for dinner. They also presented awards at the mason gym. Every girl got a medal for being there. Gold got shirts for winning championships. Then Red got little trophies for winning the most non-tournament games.

Im sad the season is over. I'll miss volleyball and everyone I played with. They were all so nice and fun especially Coach Ernie and Coach Kayla. ;(

Baby Sitting

Baby Sitting

Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about baby sitting Madeline. Madeline is a friend of ours daughter.

Madeline is almost two. She will be two in February. I'm so extremely sad that she can walk and sort of talk. I don't want her to grow up ever!! Anyway Beth and Scott were going out on a date so we got to watch her. So when they left Madeline took me to her library and picked three books out. They were all about Biscuit the dog. She made me read each one six times. I had them memorized by the end.

Next we played around with her a little and gave her a bath. It was wet, and not just for her. Then we combed her hair and put lotion on her. We dressed her and mom got her milk. She is growing to fast she held her bottle all by herself!! I need to stop her from growing. I need a plan. I sat in the rocking chair with her and read some more books.

Then me and mom put Madeline in bed. Then we went down stairs. We started making yo-yo's. Yoyo's are not just a bounce toy. The yoyo's we made were fabric circles used to decorate things. I only got to make four. Then Beth and Scott came home. Madeline just fell asleep 10 minutes before they came home. We talked for a while and then left.

I had a great time. I want Madeline to stop growing!! It makes me sad.

Daddy's Party

Daddy's Party

Hello everybody. Today I am going to tell you about my Dads birthday party. He had it yesterday, but his actual birthday is today. Anyway he turned 44 today! So Happy Birthday Dad.

My Mom and I spent all day cooking up a storm. We made spinach dip, macaroni, meatballs, hamburgers, hot dogs, green beans, and cup cakes. Then we set up the back yard. There were chairs all around the fire pit. Anyway the party started at 6:00 p.m. We invited some of Dads friends. Scott and Beth were the first ones to arrive. Mario was right behind them. We went to the back yard and then came Larry, Alex, Caleb, Steve, and his family. Then for a while we just hung out while mom grilled hamburgers. Then Matt, Toney, Joshua, and Jordan. Then we brought the food out as two other families came.

Everybody enjoyed the feast for a while. After that all the kids were fighting with nerf weapons. All of the men were checking out dads comic book room. The girls were all talking to each other. Mom started up the fire and everybody sat down for a while. Mom sent me in for something and I realized we forgot about cup cakes! So I brought them out and every body swarmed me.

We all ate our cup cakes happily and quietly around the fire. My dad and Mario were opening his present. It was an Air Jordan orange jacket that Mario had sewn Aquaman patches on. (He is a good sewer don't worry.) Dad really seemed to like it. By then there was only like two families left. Mario couldn't bring his family because his wife is pregnant and almost due.

It seemed like Dad had a great time. I really loved it. I hope this is his best birthday yet.

Camping

Hello everybody. Today I am going to tell you about my camping trip. I went camping with my my Aunt, Uncle, cousins, and family. We like to go camping at Rocky Gap State Park. It is in Maryland about an hour away from us.















We went there on Friday afternoon straight from school. We got there at around 6:00 pm. Aunt Robyn and the rest got there at about 11:00 pm. (They live in New York). We set up everything that night and had hot dogs for dinner. Then we went to sleep in our sleeping bags. The next day we saw Andrew, Isaac, Aunt Robyn, and Uncle Dave. My brothers, cousins, and I went into the woods to explore. We did that for a while and then came back. We had pancakes and bacon awaiting us. After breakfast we explored some more and then we went hiking.















We went hiking on the Lakeside Loop trail. We didn't do the entire trail but we did a good bit then we headed back for lunch. We just ate sandwiches and then we went to the beach. We went swimming and kayaking. I went with Isaac and Aunt Robyn in the kayak. It was a lot of fun. after that we went back to our cabin's. we just hung out and talked and did more exploring for a while. Then we ate dinner. We had a huge dinner of hamburgers and corn.















The next day we were packing and exploring all morning. When we left the campgrounds we went on another hike. This one was through the woods to a dam that was holding back the lake. It was a super fun trail. Then we hiked all the way back. Then we went strait to a restaurant. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but I only give it a two and a half stars. I had a super fun time and I already miss Aunt Robyn, Uncle Dave, Isaac, and Andrew.

I loved camping and taking pictures. It was a lot of fun and I want to go again soon. I miss everyone.
